Would you buy this product again? Abso-MAC-inglutely!
I'm not much of a holy grail person, because there's just soooo much to discover and experiment with, but Cream Color Base in Pearl is my absolute, forever (maybe?) HG as an all-around face highlighter and concealer for light underyeye shadows.
Its creamy and soft, spreads beautifully with fingers alone, doesn't cake no matter how much you layer it and over what, doesn't shine like a headlight but glows gently, and has a million uses.
I'm super pale (NC15) with incredibly sensitive and dry skin, and this works fantastically to lighten and diffuse shadows all over my face and never, ever causes a single sensitivity issue. I use it on the inside corners of my eyes to get that well rested look. I use a tiny, sheer wash of it under my eyes, and it works beautifully to lighten and brighten. I swipe it gently on the shadows around my nose and mouth. I put it over the top of my cheekbones for evening looks. I put a dot on the little divit above my upper lip. And although this all may sound excessive, trust me when I say that this stuff is so sheer, pretty and magical that it works!
Best of all, its so incredibly easy to apply, just fingers seem to warm it up and make it glide perfectly.
I don't, however, reccomend this as an eyeshadow or eyeshadow base. It really does crease horribly. But as a highlighter for super pale ladies (and it is sheer, so even someone with a deeper skin tone may find it useful) Cream Color Base in Pearl is simply peerless!
