Nothing of the Chrismas collection is talking to me, except maybe the quad and maybe the pearls.

I guess that is good.

I want it all, every single piece! LOL. I can't wait for the Liu spray powder! They are dcing the LIU fragrance, so this will be a nice addition.

I finally broke down and purchased the 4 seasons bronzer (always convinced myself I had too many and couldn't justify $$) .. WOWSA am I impressed.  Worth EVERY penny.   Love that I can mix the shades for different looks and the texture is beyond amazing!

Here's some info about the new foundation, Parure de Lumiere.  I would love to try it (if I can find somewhere it in 01).

My exact same sentiments ssad.gif

Guerlain LDP was actually HG material for me, except that I couldn't get it in my shade.

Yes she does, I love that winged eyeliner.  I don't have any Guerlain palettes, are they pigmented?

If I am not mistaking the Meteorites pressed compact is priced at about $170. I saw it in promo materials my SA showed me months ago.

Maybe it was a typo because doesnt look super extra special or anything, it is pretty but certainly not worthy the price.

It's not a typo, that's how much the pressed Meteorites (voyage) powders cost. The compacts are the really expensive bit, the refills cost more like $50 or so. I collect them and have them all from previous releases, luckily managed to pick a few up in the sales for half the price.

So far, I'm planning on the Perles du Dragon, Lou-Ling lipstick (the burgundy one) and the quad... And after that, no one will be getting Christmas presents...

Are they very heavy?

The newer ones are. The older ones not so much, but still heavier than the new cheaper compacts, the ones that look like normal face powders (iykwim).

Thank you!

I thought that the compacts would be nice for my hand bag.Better than the meteorites.I would never take these with me!

But if they are very heavy they are not really an option.

Does that mean that the compact itself with no powder costs $120? That is crazy, unless is has some real gold or pearl or something.

Actually the mosaic design of the powder is sort of boring, I feel like it has been here so many times and many cheap brands have powders with same design. (Ph. Formula, NYC). At least it could be intricate and original for that price such as Crual Gardenia 3D powder or Terra Inca eye palette, now those are work of art.

There are also other brands which have nice metal sturdy compacts (Burberry) way more reasonably priced.

I have never seen sales on Guerlain anything or any other of the high-end brand where I live. So jealous.

Bad news is that the more I look at Perles du Dragon, the more I WANT them.

I dont know if I NEED to have 2 meteorites sets, I already have the Pucci pearls.

Do they all give same effect?

They're not that heavy, you could carry one around I guess. Think Rouge G heavy. I carry those with me sometimes.

The mosaic design is the original Meteorites Voyage Powder design. I do agree though, they have done pettier ones like the butterflies and bees. :)

They don't all give the same effect, but perhaps you could swatch them at a counter and see how they are on you. Nobody "needs" any of these though, but they are nice to have. :)

Ah ok...that would be fine for me!

Thank you again!

They all give a slightly different effect.  To the untrained eye they will look the same on your skin, but you yourself will probably notice a slight difference.

I have five so far and I'm going to get the new holiday one (Dragon).

Let me tell you... If it wasn't for Shoppers Optimum points, Christmas would be cancelled. cutey.gif

clap.gif I just paid for most of my Chanel Fall purchases in points. Two shadows, a lipstick and a blush. Now I have to rebuild the kitty. And I think that buying lots of Guerlain would be an excellent way to do that...

Couldn't agree more!

Thank you Detective Nadine! :)

I will definitely get the shimmer powder, the quad, the Meteorites and the pressed powder. I will think about the lipsticks and nail polishes, none of them seem that unique and I have so much of both kinds of products, I don't need more.

I like the look of that quad.

You see how those sparkles look on her arm?  That's what the fallout from MAC's Light Touch pressed pigment looks like all over my face when I use it on my eyes!

I'm definitely hiring you if I need private eye work done- you are amazing!

The quad is pretty much a definite for me. I love the combination of shades and none of them look too close to things I already have. And I will probably pick up the Lou-Ling lipstick and the Perles de Dragon. Now I'm wondering if I need to buy a new brush for the perles...
