The quad is pretty much a definite for me. I love the combination of shades and none of them look too close to things I already have. And I will probably pick up the Lou-Ling lipstick and the Perles de Dragon. Now I'm wondering if I need to buy a new brush for the perles...

If the brush handle matches the outside of the jar of the perles, how could you pass it up?

I don't think there's a new brush out with the holiday collection. The regular one has a black handle though doesn't it?

I think this might be my first purchase of the pearls...

I might get ethe balls, dependinb on reviews. I will be choosing between this and Chanel's Reverie also from Holiday smiles.gif

Actually, it's interesting because it looks like Christine's wearing he new balls here:

So far, I want it more than Reverie from Chanel. But we'll see.

I might be feeling the need to get this one due to the name. As I am Chinese ssad.gif

What do you guys think about their eyeshadows? Are they worth the money? I'm so in love with the colors of les fauves palette. love.gif I would love to get my hands on that one!!!

I don't own any of their shadows so I can't speak from personal experience but it looks like you have blue eyes and in that case yes you need that palette. If I had blue eyes, I would buy it.

Thank you)) My eyes aren't really blue :) They are somewhat a chameleon between cool green and gray :) but I'm still in love with these colors.

I have dark brown eyes and I have the quad, it is really lovely. I have reviewed it on my blog and did a couple of looks with it, the review is here: http://www.pleasureflush.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/guerlain-fall-2012-ecrin-4-couleurs-14.html There is actually a look at the bottom of the review, but I did one without the coral shade, I will have a dig around for the pictures. It is a fantastic quality eyeshadow quad and I would definitely recommend getting it. :)

Found the other pictures. I wore the 3 brown shades in this look. I like pairing it up with teal or blue eyeliner and coloured mascara for a bit of a pop. :)

Finally got a review up of my first two selections from the Fall collection... I'm definitely planning on going back for more of the blushes, because I just love how they look.

Here's the review if anyone wants to take a look:

I do think that this palette is an absolute must-have for blue-eyed beauties. It's ridiculous how much brighter my eyes look wearing it- more so in person than in photos...

I couldn't resist and bought les fauves palette!! so excited for it now..hurry up delivery lol

Thanks Kate! I love reading your reviews.  This one, in fact, makes me mourn the fact that I'm brown-eyed - well, a little bit at least.

You will love it. :)

^ I second that. The quality is incredible and the shades are quite unique, even in my bloated collection.

Fragrances, what are your faves from Guerlain? :)

Mine are Insolence and Shalimar. But I haven't actually tried that many to be honest. I do love those two though. ♥

Shalimar is my favorite too. I'm all about deeper and complicated scents and I don't like new or modern fragrances as much.

I also like discontinued Aqua Allegoria Winter Delice.. I hope, maybe one day they will rerelease that one..

Thanks ladies. I am ordering a pure farfum. Guerlain is my favorite. I love the Meterorites fragrance and want a replacement for that.

I am looking to do a fragrance haul. Hehe

I like the Aqua Allegoria with fig and iris.

I must say I've not tried many of their fragrances..Mostly those that are available in the drugstore. I was into perfume a while back and I was prioritizing other brands like Surge Lutens, Perfumerie Generale and so on.. I definitely need to try more from Guerlain as I've hear a lot of positive reviews about their perfumes and I would love Shalimar in pure parfum mm :)

I love Insolence, for when I'm feeling feminine and Mitsouko has been a signature scent of mine for years. It's a gorgeous perfume, but it's a little odd if you're used to more modern scents, because it's a chypre- a base that's hardly used anymore by major perfume houses. Thanks for reminding me that I need to get a new bottle!

Shalimar is a lovely "darker" scent as well. A little goes a long way!

Of the modern perfumes, I love the feminine and girly 'L'Instant Magic' and of the older ones Chamade, which is a typical Guerlain - I love that it's heavily based on the trademark 'Guerlinade' which is the base of nearly all their perfumes.

I also will purchase Jicky one day - I really like the Vanilla/lavender combination and I think it's awesome that it's one of the oldest perfumes still available today (it's originally from 1889).

found a few pics here:

I only got one eyeshadow palette from Guerlain a few days ago and I already want another one!

So far I think I will "only" get the eyeshadow quad, shimmer powder, Meteorites, pressed powder and maybe the red lipstick. I didn't like the nail polishes very much and the Calligraphy palette isn't that special imo. I already have a gold lipstick from Chanel, don't need another one.
