This is gorgeous! I missed Blush G original too. Since this Sakura has a white packaging, I'm guessing it is from the whitening range? Usually brands release a whitening range early in the year in Asia, right after the spring collection.

I guess it's time to stalk eBay for this then. It is really pretty and I hope I manage to get my hands on it. I hate Asia exclusives, they are always so lovely. ♥

In the meantime something equally pretty and accessible for all: http://getlippie.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/guerlain-ss13-meteorites-perles-du.html I can't wait to get my hands on the new Meteorites! I have to say though I'm a bit disappointed they've gone back to the cardboard packaging, but the container is still very pretty and the pearls... oh those pearls! love.gif Is it January yet???

The meteorites are to die for.....OMG th_worship.gif

I have not seen such beautiful ballz for a long time eyelove.gif

Does anyone remember the meteorites Red Pastel???They look a bit similar to these. And that is really great

because the Red Pastels are my favorite ballz ever and I always wanted Guerlain to release something similar.

I think that the Paradis ballz might be a bit more pastel and lighter but still close!

I don't think they're anything like the Red Pastels one, those are more red, whereas these are pink and purple and lighter. I don't need a dupe for Red Pastels as they last forever, so it's nice to have something different. :)

Yes,you are right smiles.gif

I just swatched them again and they are really more red and intense than the Paradis ballz look in the

swatches.

The Red Pastels are definitely a red blush for me!

Wow. Under normal circumstances, I'd be all feverish and excited about Flirt, which looks like an amazing colour, but now I'm just feeling kind of bummed about the Sakura blush. The original Blush G remains one of my all-time favourites. I absolutely love the glow it gives me and how I can play with the shades to make it either more coral or pink. I'll have to content myself with the lipsticks. And the shadow palettes. And the ballz.

That blush is gorgeous. Just from the look it reminds me of Chanel's Horizon from last year. But I still want this.

Looks interesting, might give it a try.

Hmmmn

Not sure about this collection now that I see swatches.
Im huge fan of Guerlain quads, and green shadows as well. But Im not happy that the green quad does not have a light shade, not sure would I wear such dark colors and I dont like to be adding another shadows. We will see once it hits counters.

The purple palette is beautiful but out of the question for me as I recently colored my hair warm red.

Dont need sparkly Meteorites.

I think I will keep my eyes open for other brands this spring.

I agree. I like a light shade in there and an all in one palette.

The purple is really pretty and recently I read an article that purple eye shadows are a great choice of mature women. I'm 50 but not sure how mature I am:)  A sales lady at Sephora convinced me to buy a Dior palette in #970, Stylish Move which is plum. It has beautiful colors but I'm not sure they look very good on me. I just tried them today and I kind of looked bruised.  Perhaps I need to play with it more. I haven't used their e/s in years. They have greatly improved. This is the one I bought.

I do love purples but still trying to nail down which tones of purple. I'm very fair. Some MAC artists have said NC15, others NW15 and a few more honest ones that tell me we have nothing light enough.  Any ideas?

No sparkly ballz for me either. On that note, sorry I know this was talked about earlier in this thread somewhere. Is the Dragon ballz more sparkly than the Pucci ones or less?

After much thought about the holiday collection and being introduced to the brand a few weeks ago, I went back to the Guerlain counter at JC Penney and bought my first meteorite perles, the dragon ballz/perles du dragon! girlhaha.gif  I love everything about it.  For now, I'll use it for special occasions since I don't consider it as an everyday product.   I got the Altoum and Lou-Ling lipsticks.  I don't know what went through my mind when I bought Altoum because I dismissed Ruffian Gold gold thinking that it was something unnecessary and for being a frost lipstick, but ended up buying Altoum because I actually liked it and the formula didn't dry my lips.  I almost skipped Lou-Ling because it looked too plum when I picked up the tester, but it turns dark pink on my lips.  It's really beautiful and I didn't expect it to have a lot of the shimmer like Altoum.

I'm still on the fence with the Wulong powder compact.  I really liked the product but that price is still headache inducing unless the Guerlain counters at JC Penney and/or Sears put it on some sort of discount.  I don't think anyone has bought the compact since both counters are usually deserted unless if people are asking about the perfumes and the counters that are constantly full of people are Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, Chanel, and Shiseido.

Oh yes that Wulong palette. I am still dreaming about it. I'm afraid to go look at it but I know I will soon. I don't think I've ever heard of Guerlain products going on sale or having a discount. Maybe I'm out of the loop on that. But that would be great.

Hi,

I have Guerlain spring on the way to me. I got the ballz, quads and another bu of Wulong. I will wait to see the mascara and the lips in person. So far I think I only like 2 lip colors.

I will post when I get it all! Excited !!

^^^Please let us know about the quality of the quads.  I absolutely love the Turnadot quad and hope that the new quads are of the same quality.  I actually bu the Turnadot quad which was a first for me.  I have never bu an eyeshadow quad before.  I can see hitting pan on this one, however, very quickly.

I think I'm in trouble. Will this collection eventually show up at Sephora?

I have found that Sephora often doesn't get the hottest items from the Guerlain collections. Sometimes late, sometimes not at all.

Does Asian exclusive for Guerlain mean what it usually does for Chanel -- that it can be purchased in Australia as well?

I saw a swatch of one of the lipsticks on a blog and I must have it!

Here are swatches (and a review) of the Rouge Automatique Shines:

And the regular Rouge Automatiques:

Flirt is definitely mine. And I know I'm going to have to come home with at least one of the pinks...

Oh, and for those who haven't tired of the holiday collection, I FINALLY got my review up with swatches and all (link is in my signature). I seriously can't imagine how they are going to top Liu. It's an amazing collection.

^^ Thanks for the review and the story about the opera! You look very beautiful! Lou-ling is gorgeous, I don't think it will look like that on me, but I feel I need it. I don't have any RAS. I haven't purchased anything from the collection. The perfumed powder is amazing. I gave it a spray and it not only smells good, the shimmer is stunning. I have last year's so I pass this time.

The RA Hydrating lip colours look very pretty. I love such pinks!

katred great review!!

i know i am late for the party but i finally caved in and ordered dragon ballz from NM pompom.gif

Something strange is happening at Shoppers Drug Mart.

I went to my local Shoppers this morning and they just received Guerlain's holiday collection -- even though I was told weeks ago that Shoppers would not get it (it was exclusively at the Bay).  Weird!

I had bought the few essential items I needed at the Bay and now I don't know what to do.  I went through the five stages of grief when I realized I couldn't buy the entire collection with my banked Shoppers points.  So, I'm kinda "over it," but Wulong is still calling my name.

Wow, this is interesting news.

all the shoppers near me that carry guerlain told me that they are not getting the collection at all...so i bought my must haves at the bay also...(not with my banked points also.)

That is weird. I haven't seen it at any SDM locations thus far (although I wasn't really looking, since I understood they weren't getting the new collections any longer, just adding the new perm items to the existing displays). I was able to get my goodies at Murale, which allowed me to use my points, but there's only one Murale in Montreal, whereas there are dozens of Shoppers that are more convenient to get to. Wonder what's up with that. I wish these companies would pull together their Canadian strategy.

Agree.  It seems very half-assed.  I wonder what will happen with the spring collection...

Apparently Parure Extreme foundation is being discontinued for those that care...

I bought the Dragon Ball Z (that was a big anime type hit with the kids I taught at my first teaching job-lol) but have yet to receive them yet. I know they are a little more sparkly, so I need some guidance, 1. Do I need the special brush that is made specificaly for this product? If not, is there a MAC brush that does the trick? 2. Did anyone buy the special Pucci designed brush & bag set? If so, how is that brush? Is it the same quality of the 'regular' one they sell? 3. Should I buy the 'regular ballz' for my everyday needs. If so, what one do I reach for? I'm NC20...I'm confused of which of the 3 regular ones to buy. Many thanks! Hope everyone is wonderful!

I cannot advice on best ballz but I am sure others can.  Re: the brush, I think that using a MAC brush that works well for face products would be preferable to the Guerlain brush, the MAC brushes are softer.  I didn't get the Pucci brush, but I would like one just to look at.  I did get the Pucci ballz, but wonder if there is too much blue in there to use them?  (Personally, I like applying with the spongy/cloth applicator thingie or my BE buki)

Some of the ballz are more sparklier than others, I think if you go up the thread (back a bit) there is a rating where the ballz are rated from most to least sparkly.  I think the set of ballz that will work best probably depends if you are using all over, as just highlighter, or trying to tone down a specific skin tendency (tone down red, enlighten sallow skin, etc.) so how you plan to use the ballz may help guide the recommendations.

On a related ballz topic, the Spring 2013 ballz look divine!

Coup de Foudre!

http://bestthingsinbeauty.blogspot.ca/2012/12/guerlain-ecrin-4-couleurs-long-lasting.html

Looks so incredible in these swatches, although I wonder how the coral shade compares to the coral in Les Fauves. Honestly, I don't really care, because I'd buy the palette for the other three shades even if they were similar.

Pretty sure this will be my biggest Spring haul.

Coup de Foudre looks gorgeous, the mint is my favourite. The swatches look very smooth and pigmented. I might cave for it and the RAS, but I'll try to stay away from the counter when the collection launch so there is less opportunity for that to happen.
