Oh dear.

I think I'll just get the Coup de Foudre quad and skip these meteorites. I really love my Dragons ballz and I think I'll like those better than the spring ones.

I finally tracked down the new spring meteorites at my local Nordstrom! The packaging is so cute, though I do wish they had gone with a metal container. The pink powder puff is to die for. The meteorites are exquisite and didn't show up sparkly when applied with my Mac 138 brush. My container had very few silver balls which might add the most glitter. They were not as shimmery as the dragon balls, nor as matte as the permanent ones. They added a perfect glow. $70 is expensive, but worth the splurge for the LE product.

 

I think I'm going to have to see them in person before I can make a decision. If they are too similar to the dragon balls I'll probably just go for a permanent one like rose. I won't be going to the bay area until Feb so I'll just have to dream about them until then...

The only product that interests me right now is Coup de Foudre, but what am I going to do with the coral color?

i'll buy them as well for the promising look of it could be used as a blush. sheer is the better for my skin tone.

Wow, love the color of Flirt lipstick in T's swatch  Definitely gonna get that one.

The ballz i'm gonna test in the store .. If the pigmentation of the ballz is that bad i'm afraid i will skip them, we'll see.

 

 

it may sound weird but another reason guerlain powders and blushes attract me is their scent. i just kinda like it.

Me too!!! I always find it strange that so many people find it off putting.

 

I really love both lipsticks on Christine. This haul will eat my wallet for sure!

scent is nice but too strong

I bought the purple quad on Monday. It's my first Guerlain eyeshadows. There is so much depth to these shadows.

Look what I just got:

I swatched it and it was over. I'm a sucker for greens and I love the coral shadow. I have similar colors, but I don't even care. This is my first non-lip Guerlain product. I hope to play with it within the week.

the dark green tempts me

Shontay---You think it's a good palette. YAY!!!! I wasn't sure what the reviews were going to say. I trust your judgement especially on greens. That does it I must have it. I LOVE my greens. I was so hoping this would be a winner. It doesn't appear to be all sparkles like the YSL one that I was drawn to. The colors looked gorgeous but online pics really showed way too many sparkles for me.

I'm honored you trust my judgement! I think this palette is a winner without actually testing it on my eyes. The colors are SO pigmented and smooth. The least impressive one is the darkest, green/gray shade on your right, but it still isn't bad, though. The coral and the mint green are outstanding. There is shimmer in it, but it's not obnoxious. I think the bloggers wanted to emphasis the shimmer b/c some gals go crazy for it (I do, but not all the time). I think the softness of the shadows will keep the shimmer from looking too outrageous. It's not Urban Decay.

I picked up the green quad today and ended up with a lipstick as well.  The SA said "you're not getting the purple?  You seem like a purple girl" or something like that.  I was wearing Tom Ford Enchanted.  I like the purple but I've been wearing the Tom Ford Enchanted quad a lot.  Although the colors are not the same, I think the Enchanted quad will serve the same purpose.  She also tried to sell me the mascara.  She said it was new but I don't like having a lot of mascaras in rotation.  I think they will dry out fast and I have quite a few open right now.
