Re: Guerlain anyone?

I have les météorites and La poudre c'est moi.
Both are very good and the packaging is cool indeed.

Re: Guerlain anyone?

This is one of my mom's favorite makeup lines. This, and MAC
I always borrow her Guerlain Teracotta Tan Booster bronzer, haha. It's so beautiful! The packaging of everything is amazing, too.

Re: Guerlain anyone?

i really love guerlain. now, since ive got some tan i use the tan boosting bronzer in medium every day. i love it, its the best bronzer ive ever tried!
meteorites in mythic are wonderful to add some shimmer to the face in the evening....
i also own the golden mascara... or whatever it is and the golden lipgloss from the forever gold collection.
but i HATE HATE HATE the loose khol............. or i just cant use it
there is so much falloff.... and i have to dip in the wand a thousand of times before i get a line on my lid. its never straight, and as i said... the whole fall off makes me crazy. can it be that im doing something wrong? is there a special rule for this thing? lol ^

Re: Guerlain anyone?

I like the Terracota Bronzer (however I can only use this in the winter when I'm a bit drier or else I'll look oily if used in the summer). But would love to try the KissKiss l/s & after reading a few comments I'm lemming it.

Re: Guerlain anyone?

i've got several meteorites, loose khol powder terracota, pressed powder Les Violettes, limited edition Elixir, and i'm absolutely in love wz their foundation fleur de teint (matt), i have a feeling tht i've forgotten smth..but just can't remember what))

Re: Guerlain anyone?

I love their eye products, especially their loose eye khols. I have one of their terracotta lip glosses and ever since I found MAC I never looked back (that's right I still have to use some of it). I had the chance to try their skincare line (moistureizers and what not) and it felt reaaaally good... except for the price, so I passed.

Re: Guerlain anyone?

I have the dual ended mascara and I really like it. The little brush is good at getting in the inner corners and the bottom lashes

Basically for me this lifts/lengthens/curls and separates!

Re: Guerlain anyone?

I bought their blush in 04 Rosée du printemps a couple of weeks ago as I was looking for a very light pink blush and I love it. Very natural and it smells AMAZING

Re: Guerlain anyone?

Has anyone seen/used any of the 2008 Christmas/Holiday line with the butterflies on it? The packaging is sooo pretty and the colors are so light and frosty!!! I want the whole line I've never used any of their products so I'm afraid to take the plunge.

Re: Guerlain anyone?

Their liquid liner is the best I have ever used. The brush in it is amazingly high quality, and it goes on so smoothly!

I tried the collection with the butterflies in the store, too pale, too pink, too sheer. For me, anyway. Perfect for blue eyed blondes though.

Re: Guerlain anyone?

The Lip Lift is truly amazing!!!! For anyone who has problems with their l/s's bleeding you have to get this - it really works

Re: Guerlain anyone?

I went to Guerlain today! It's lucky that the counter near me is never very busy and they always have time to go through and show me all the products I'm interested in.

I bought the Meteorites Perles Light Diffusing Primer. It's like velvet, so gorgeous! It really does freshen the complexion and give you a nice natural glow, whilst being slightly mattefying. Keeps foundation on and looking nicer for longer too. I definitely rate it and that's only after 1 days use. I can imagine it will last a long time too, given only a tiny amount is needed for a full face application.

I also go the Le 2 De Guerlain mascara in Brun and Noir, love the 360 degree angle brush, good for seperation and the little brush too, for catching the lashes that are missed. Definitely gives a more volumising appearance, good length and curl too. Loved the Butterfly Sparkle shade too but I just couldn't justify buying it because I can imagine I wouldn't wear it often.

I SO want all the Meteorites now too, the Butterfly ones are just <3, infact all of the LE Christmas stuff is. I saw it and melted, I think I'll probably cave and go back sometime in the week. They also invited me to a makeover thing their having in January it's totally complimentary and I thought it was a really good idea because I'd like to see some of their foundations and powders on.

Re: Guerlain anyone?

The loose kohl is a love or hate thing. I happen to love it to bits. I'm always scouring EBay for discontinued colors.

Re: Guerlain anyone?

Years ago, I had many of their products. As usual, I wear them down and go to look at other brands. Their blushes were smooth and the colors were superior.

My mom purchased the prettiest gold e/s that I have ever seen from them. Again, it was years ago.

Recently, I have been checking out several sites. Their new quad and single eye shadows look so pretty. I am seriously tempted.

That is one of my fave Guerlain products ever. It's just so pretty

I might actually hit pan on it too. I've been using it a lot.

Re: Guerlain anyone?

For my personal use, I love Guerlain -- I recently bought a few of the Terracotta items... the Bronzer/Blonde is the best bronzer shade on me. And I absolutely cherish my loose powder khols as well as the small bullett one (which is horribly expensive but worth it)

Re: Guerlain anyone?

Does anyone with slightly pitted skin and mild acne use any of the Guerlain foundations? I use MAC now I have used all kinds of foundation. It works out nicely in the begining then it begins to look like crap. So far I have used Smashbox, Stilla, Shiseido, MAC, Chanel and Laura Mercier. I have pink undertones and it seems like everything ends up Orange! YUK!

Re: Guerlain anyone?

Anyone bought the Bal de Nuit eyeshadow quad from Holiday 2009? I saw the quad today and when I swatched it, I fell in love with it. It is a lovely, neutral quad and the colours and pigmented and shimmery. I really want to buy it!

I have it. I think it's really good for everyday and smokey looks, but also very dupable. The packaging is gorgeuos though, and the quality is pretty good; so I'm happy I got it

Re: Guerlain anyone?

I am so crazy for Guerlain and I don't even have any of their products (yet)!
I just bought mini meteorites and I am looking forward to receiving them after I read sooo many great reviews. Now I am having 2 other products in my wish list: meteorites for summer 2010 and 4 seasons bronzer.
Damn they are so expensive!!!! I start saving now...
