No way pearls could be too dark, they are very translucent.

That looks sooooooo warm--almost orange?

I exchanged that nude Automatique shine for a red. #220, Pour Troubler. It's gorgeous. Didn't really want to go with another red, but it called to me. Glad I listened.

You can see detail of the pouch and seems to be VERY nice. Yeah it is Guerlain, I Dont know why I tought it would be cheapo pouches.

BTW: Did anyone note that the eye quad comes in chocolate brown packaging instead of gold? LOVE

How do you use the Khol? Is that an eyeliner?

I so wish it would be out right now, I am going to Carribean in 2 weeks and this would be perfect to wear. Touch up with Pucci bronzer and Pucci brush in sleek pouches on beautiful tropical beach. Please Saks or Bergdorf get it soon!!

That quad is calling to me already. I'm guessing that the packaging colour will be sort of similar to the Terre Indigo quad from last year, which is a stunning brown-bronze. I think this is the item that I want the most from the collection, since the blush/ bronzer looks to be a little warm for my complexion.

Thank you, good to hear.

The more I look at the pic the more I want it. I wonder if you can pre-order anywhere. I've pre-ordered MAC and a few other brands at Nordies but not sure on this.

Probably I'll just buy the brush... it's gorgeus

The Meteorites and the brush are available for Beauty Insider purchase now on the Sephora US website. They do not currently have the rest of the collection available.

thank you for the info!

i ordered the pearls

also i was able to use this code

VIB only: 10% off with code V436CB (one use per account)

Thank you so much guys. I'm glad I don't have to rely on the sa at Nordies now. I don't know her so nothing against her. I called the other day to see if I could pre-order but she said they didn't have a code yet and took down my name and number. Unless they are putting out tons of this collection I think it will go fast.

I had a coupon with that code also.  It covered my sales tax. I would've loved for them to be doing 20% off now.

I ordered the pearls also.  I wasn't sure about the brush. It's pretty but some of the reviews for the regular one weren't that great.

What brush would you all recommend for the pearls?

I love the brush, I think it's perfect for applying the Meteorites, I never use anything else. Can't wait to get the blue one.

All collection is available on Sephora site for VIB's. Just purchased meteorites and bronzer/blush :)

Good to know. I would love the bronzer but I am afraid it will be too dark/orange on my fair skin. I did get the Meteorites though. They should be here tomorrow.

Mine won't be here till Wed so let us know what you think.

I still am undecided about the brush. It's so cute but I have so many brushes I don't know if I need it. If this one does indeed work better with the pearls than my other face brushes then I will get it. So anyone who ordered the brush let us know if you feel the quality is there. I am not a regular buyer of this brand so not sure how the LE products compare. Some brands the LE brushes are not up to par.

Saw the Summer collection today. So disappointed that the blue gloss is extremely sheer. It's ridiculously sheer. I don't even see the point. It's like a faint dark blue. It won't show on my brown lips and on pale girls it'll just look like some funky lip infection, I think.

What is spectacular is the gloss #10. A gorgeous, vibrant peachy pink. It screams Summer. It's the only thing I bought. So, so lovely.

I heard that the blue  gloss is meant more to be a topcoat? Or maybe just to look cool in your bag haha :)

For the pink is it pretty opaque or is it more sheer like last years'? That's the only thing in the collection I was interested in, but I only want it if it shows up haha.

The pink isn't completely opaque, but it shows up lovely on my brown lips. I was surprised at how much pigment it actually has.

That blue gloss can stay right there. It's all kinds of gross because it's so sheer. Yuck.

it should just leave tiny blue sparkles to make teeth look whiter

That sounds nice, I don't need it to be like crazy opaque, just sheer but pigmented I guess. I really like the feel of the Terracotta glosses from last year's summer collection but I rarely end up using them because they are so sheer they don't do much.

Yeah it sounds icky...I seriously think the only reason it exists is because it's the right shade of blue in the tube to go with the other things from the collection, but not actually as a usable item lol

I guess the blue gloss is OK if it actually works to make teeth whiter. I don't need to go that extra step, so it's definitely not worth the money for me. I was hoping for a pigmented blue in the great terracotta gloss formula. Oh, well.

The peachy pink from this collection will definitely work on it's own. I didn't buy any last year b/c they seemed so sheer but this one is definitely better.

^^ Thanks. I have my eyes on the blue and the coral pink glosses. I thought I will pass the pink one and get the blue since it is more unique, but I guess I have to decide when I see them in person. Did you get anything else?

The blue is the only sheer one. The other two are pretty pigmented- like the regular Kiss Kiss glosses.

I swatched it today and I didn't see any sparkles at all- just a clear gel-like finish. Don't know if it would make my teeth look lighter, but I'm not willing to pay Guerlain prices to find out...

I love Karla's swatches, but I have to say that some of them look cooler/ pinker in her photos than they did when I swatched them. The one where I really noticed it was with Rose Imperiale, which looks light pink in her shot, but showed very much pink-coral (and not all that light) on me. Some of the others look fine, though... Weird...

Anyway, I took a couple of shots of most of them yesterday. Here goes:

IMG_2746.jpg

Left column (top to bottom): Pour Troubler, Rose Imperiale (looks more pink here, right?), Mi-Mai

Right column (to to bottom, not counting the two you can barely see on top): Rose Pompon, A la Parisienne, Rouge de Damas

IMG_2747.jpg

Left column: Pour Troubler, Rose Imperiale (now can you see the coral? It changes in the light)

Right Column: Pamplune, Pao Rosa, Rose Pompon, A la Parisienne

I think it's possible that Karla did a single pass on her swatches, whereas I did a couple to build colour (because that's how I'd wear them). Personal must-haves: Rose Imperiale, Pao Rosa, either Rouge Damas or Pour Troubler (don't really need both).

Jardin de Bagatelle was so sheer it wouldn't even show up on me. Extrait de Rose and Rose Pompon are very pretty, but sheerer than the others.

I'm surprised that they keep being described as frosty, because none of them read like a traditional frost to my eye. Pao Rosa definitely has some shimmer, but even then I wouldn't call it frosty. The others were less shimmery. th_confused_new.gif

The do feel lovely and creamy. I can't wait to have more cash, so I can pick some up...

How are woc liking sun in the city is it a must have. I finally was able to grab the guerlain cruel gardenia meteorites from Norstrom after tremendous stalking so I do not want to miss on something else before it is gone.

katred - Thanks for the description and swatches. They haven't launch at my counters, but not long now as I received a text message saying we get 2 for the price of 1 from now until 13 May. So what is the difference between them and the original RA? Are they more sheer but buildable? I didn't end up with a single one of the RA, only got a mini RA as a gwp.

Thanks!

I also have swatches of the eyeshadow quad on my blog, just click on the link in my signature. I've found the pink shade quite powdery and the coral not very smooth actually, it has quite a poor colour pay off imo. I can't wait to see the rest of the collection in person.

On another note, I swatched all the Shine Automatiques today and the reds especially are beautiful! I haven't picked up any yet (other than #200 Sous Le Vent which I have also reviewed on my blog if you're interested), but I will have some House of Fraser vouchers soon and I'll pick a couple of them up for sure. :) Some of the darker pinks are lovely too.
