re: CoverGirl Products

Has anybody ever tried Cover Girl's Color Squeeze? You squeeze the color out from a little tube thing...

I found them at a dollar tree and got two of their colors-- aqua and a light blue one. The light blue one was very pigmented and cute! On my lids they look more silver, though. As for the aqua, it looked watered down and you could barely see the color if u don't layer it.

I was just wondering what ur experience is with them if u've ever tried them. I tried using them as a base and they didn't work...it's crease city!!!

i've never tried them (and they've been discontinued i believe, because i haven't seen them on store shelves for a very long time) and i heard they crease like maaaaaad (as with all cream shadows!) so i stayed away. *however* one cream shadow that does work pretty good are the wet n wild ones - they make fantastic bases, better than MAC paints IMO. i heard they're being discontinued tho, so if you find some grab them and stock up b/c that might be the last time you'll ever see them!

CG mascara is FANTASTIC~ I've used the lash exact and volume exact both, and they were great. I'm not big on foundation, but I'd like to try the whipped foundation. I have pale skin and it seems like everything I try is too dark or heavy!

re: CoverGirl Products

I use CG's Professional Loose Powder in translucent medium, aswell as their Tru Blend pressed powder in translucent medium (for touch ups during the day). I love both, they work fairly well. The tru blend really matches my skin tone and goes on great. It gets rid of shine and feels very silky on my face. I also use some of their concealers. Not sure which ones right now. I've used some of their eyeshadows and they're pretty good, can't complain. I think my friend owns a shade that looks very similar to MAC.
I haven't tried any lipglosses by CG yet, but after reading posts I'll definitely have to give them a try. Same with the lash exact mascara!

re: CoverGirl Products

I also use the fresh complexion concealer in "soft honey". I think it works pretty good.

re: CoverGirl Products

I really love Cover Girls Outlast lipsticks. I have quite a collection. And their TruBlend powder foundation in Buff Beige looks great on me (so does the liquid, but I prefer the powder). And the Wet Slicks lipglosses have found their way into my makeup collection too.

I think Cover Girl has really made strides in improving their products. I've been impressed with a lot of their stuff lately, especially for the prices.

well it got really good reviews on MUA, so i decided to try it.....it was pretty expensive for a drug store mascara (close to $10 @ CVS). i laughed when i saw the ridiculously large orange tube. the brush itself is similar to the VolumeExact and LashExact brushes, but large and fat...it takes some time getting used to. as for the effect of the mascara....imo it didn't do much. maybe i didn't apply enough or something but it looked like i was wearing LashExact....no clumps or anything and it lengthened my lashes but nothing in terms of volume. i'll stick with my VolumeExact i think, even tho that isn't really that volumizing imo either - it's like LashExact but with more "oomph" to it. i suggest trying the LashBlast mascara tho - everyone is different!

re: CoverGirl Products

I was so disappointed in Lash Blast It wasn't awful, but it wasn't spectacular either, like I thought it would be. It was just eh for me....So sad. I will stick to Lash Exact.

re: CoverGirl Products

I love Volume Exact mascara! It's the only CG product I've ever tried, but it's awesome- loads of volume, no clumps!!!

re: CoverGirl Products

I haven't seen anyone mention the CG Tru Shine lipsticks, and these are really great. I have two of them, one a peach shade and one a wine shade. They are supposed to match 97% of people's skintone, or something crazy like that. They're pretty moisturizing though, and leave a glossy finish. Hope that helps someone!

re: CoverGirl Products

does anyone know what the ingredients are in CG's lashblast? I'm allergic to some ingredients and definitely would like to know what's in there before I consider buying it.

I've been wanting those lash exact and all the other plastic bristle wands, but they all seem to have a form of sulfa in them, which i'm allergic to, so if anyone can post up the ingredients list, i'd greatly appreciate it!

thanks in advance

haha it's ok - just go here: Specktra.Net - Specktra.net Forum Gallery - Member Albums
and then click "upload" (it's near the alphabet thing) and you can upload pictures that way, then right click the uploaded picture, click on "properties" and copy the address. then you click when you're going to post, paste the copied URL and hit ok, and it should paste the image onto your post =)

LASH EXACT mascara(in the purple tube) I have other covergirl items... not that great but lash exact is wonderful!!!!!

re: CoverGirl Products

My mother got me a tube of Lash Blast. Just tried it out for the first time today. For the mascaras with plastic bristles it was the most voluminous! My only issue is that as I put it on it lined my eyes and I wasn't wanting liner today.

re: CoverGirl Products

I guess I`ll share how I feel about covergirl, umm their fruit spritzers are ok but the don`t last long and it`s just a hint of color, which i was dissapointed about because i only bought it for the ad rihanna did. the wetslicks i like not the crystals so much maybe because the color i have is a really light pink it`s too much glitter for me. I like the TruShine Lipsticks the don`t fade right away and their glossy. I also like thier Outlast Double LipShine the last super long but you can remove them eaiser with vaseline or eye makeup remover, the trick to getting them on is to put the top and let it dry completly, which doesn`t take that long, then apply the top coat.

Here`s some pictures I took ( thier not that good i couldn`t take them in natural light because it`s night time )

- From Left To Right -
Wetslicks Crystals in Crush, Wetslicks in Peaches n` Gleam, Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers in Rasberry Shine, Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers In Guava Splash, Outlast Double LipShine in Antique Rose, Outlast Double LipShine in Power Pink, TruShine in Watermelon Shine ( Which if you wanted the Rihanna Look I would suggest this with Rasberry Shine on top ), TruShine in Peach Shine . I couldn`t find Wetslicks Iced Berry I`ll try do better swatches in the morning .

I currently use the CG TruBlend whipped foundation (loooove it mixed with some moisturizer, goes on light and easy) and the Fresh Complexion concealer - both in classic ivory. But my two favourite CG products are my mascara (Fantastic Lash, makes my lashes sooo long and dark) and my various lipglosses, all CG Smoothwear Liptints. I f%#!'n love those lipglosses. I rave about them to anyone that will listen. The colours are great, just the right amount when you want shine with a bit of colour. I'm wearing "hint of honey" in my profile pic. HIGHLY recommended for anyone!

What CG products have you tried/love/hate?
Is the whipped foundation exactly like the Maybelline version?

i think the cover girl whipped foundation is a creamy texture whereas the maybelline one is a thicker, "mousseier" consistency. if you want reviews on both, check out Makeupalley - Street Smart Beauty - Homepage =)

re: CoverGirl Products

I love my Covergirl Clean makeup, I've been using it for about six moths now and no breakouts! I use the fragrance free version because my skin is very sensitive. I also like my Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers lipgloss too - it smells awesome and is really shiny, but not sticky at all The one product that I don't like the VolumeExact mascara because it dries out my lashes and eyes and makes them sting, which is weird. Sure, it adds plenty of volume but it's not worth the discomfort.

Aqua Smooth foundation. I cannnot say enough good things about this. It has the coverage of mac studio tech, but it cleared up my skin totally and was a fraction of the price of studio tech. My face at the beginning looked horrible. I was using studio fix fluid. My face had all kinds of pimples. then My friend suggested i try it and i could tell after one application my face was less oily and not irritated. Within a week my face had healed and now it is so smooth. I love it, I buy a backup all the time! Go and try it for the money it's worth it.

but i heard aquasmooth wasn't oil-free? but maybe i'll have to try it =)
does it have any weird smell to it?

re: CoverGirl Products

Most Covergirl shadows are really great...they usually don't crease. They do tend to break, however. I've done this I don't know how many times...

Last night, I ran out of mascara and found a new kind of CG. It's called Lash Blast.

Let me tell you, the brush is huge and it gave me lots of last definition! No clumps, and all the the lashes are individual, not all clumped together. I got length too. I would recommend it.

i'm not sure if it is oil free, but oil cuts oil so that could be the reason it works well on my skin. And i love it because it smells like absolutely nothing.

I don't really like Cover Girl. The fruit spritzers are alright.

I don't really like my VolumeExact mascara because it dries my lashes and eyes out and makes them sting, which is weird. Sure, it adds a lot of volume but it's not enough to sacrifice my lash comfort for lol. I have higher hopes for Lashblast, which I want to buy SOON. But I adore my Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers, it smells awesome and adds the perfect glow, the only downside is the seal on it so it doesn't leak is busted oh well at least it's cheap

Has anyone tried the Lashblast? I hear it leaves your lashes soft but I don't know.
I have the lastblast...in the orange tube. I've been using it for like 2 weeks now. I like it okay. I loved it the first few days, but I don't know if I love it so much now. It's not a mascara I would use everyday. The

re: CoverGirl Products

I really love CG...IMO, it's a fantastic line. The makeup is good-quality and inexpensive!

I'm deeply, utterly, head-over-heels in love with the Cheekers blush in Snow Plum. I use it as a highlighter on the tops of my cheekbones. I'm addicted to it. It gives you the perfect barely there shimmer. It lasts forever too. I've had mine since August I think, use it everyday and I can't even see pan!

I also really like their new Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers. I have it in Fig and Guava. They're really pretty---not sticky at all with good color payoff. And they smell delicious. Perfect to keep in your purse for touchups.

Lash Blast is really amazing too. I'm a mascara freak and it really gives you thick, dark, volumized lashes. The packaging is cute too and it's easy to find in your makeup bag.

However, Lash Exact and Volume Exact are horrible. No color payoff, it makes me look like I'm not wearing any mascara. My eyelashes look wimpy and limp. Ick!
