This was my 2nd attempt at using a a paint pot , my first was rubenesque ..and that one made my eyes water & my lids had a rash.
Painterly is fabulous, it matches my skintone well (nc15 or nw100), id say the color is similar to bare canvas, but this one is matte. Ive given my udpp a break since ive had this , its a versatile color paint so you can use it all the way up to your eyebrows. Its very creamy & spreads much easier than the old pain tubes & a little goes a long way. When i first opened one of these pots, the surface seems sorta dry , but once you swipe your finger/brush across its really creamy & smooth.

It blends well but it's a bit dry for my eyelids. I use it 3-4 times a week so I don't know when I'll finish it. I don't like the packaging and I hope it won't dry out before I finish the pot. If the product's still fresh when I hit pan, I'll try the soft ochre.
