Can anyone compare Hush Hush with honey Bare???
From the descriptions they must be identical only that Hush Hush has gold pearl and Honey Bare has silver ones? Any other differences??

I think Hush Hush is a bit brighter than Honey Bare.

I bought Honey Bare in the store today and it's a peach color with gold sparkles. I love it!

I also picked up Pucker so I could have one with a little more color payoff.

i got my package today!! i got EZ Baby and Tread Gently (these are my first 2 tendertones). they smell so good ; ) now i want Honey Bare.

my EZ Baby expires January 2011 and Tread Gently expires March 2011

I went to check these out this morning, and passed on them. I still have 2 from last year, plus these are popping up at CCOs too. I was interested in EZ Baby and Tread Gently, but EZ Baby did absolutely nothing on my lips, and Tread Gently in pretty identical to Shush from last year. I may still get Hot and Saucy later on, but I got a sneek peak of Cool Heat, and I know I want alot from that so I passed for now. I didn't know these had an expiration date, so I will use up the ones I have before getting more I think. Those are already a year old.

I went in to my MAC store today specifically to check out the Tendertones in person...but they didn't have them on display. When I asked the girls in the store, they were clueless and said they didn't think Tendertones came out until next week. I was like "are you sure?" and they go "uh, yeah pretty sure and gave me this crazy look."

So I was really disappointed, but I took a chance and walked over to the Saks Fifth Ave in the mall. Sure enough, there were the Tendertones and I got the two I wanted.

Has anyone ever had an experience like this? How could they not know when the release date was?

So basically, they are sheer to the point of colorlessness? Hmm....I think I'll pass.

My TLC in Strobe Kiss seems to have more color than this.

I know. I bought 2 Pucker tendertones last year and I'm still on my 1st one. I can't stock-pile these 'cause I didn't know they had an expiration date!

Tell us more about Cool Heat in the Cool Heat thread, please! I'm so giddy with anticipation for those es.....

The counter I frequent didn't have it out either. I asked about it, and they didn't think it was out yet. But they double checked The Book and realized that it was out today. They said they thought it was coming out next week because they just got them in today.

If I use lipgloss on top of the tendertone, will it be too 'slippery' for the lipgloss to hold up?

I think I'll get Tread Gently or EZ Baby. I want something simple and sheer for summer, since I don't wear a lot of gloss in the summer (mostly just lip balm for sun protection and all that jazz). So these will be perfect.

i have the same question, but about lipsticks on tendertones. they seem to disappear much faster with tendertone

you can definitely use lipglosses on top of tendertones. acutally i find the "pearls" are less likely to settle into the lines on my lips when i used tendertone under it

Just got back from checking the tendertones out...I loved them! I bought Ez Baby which actually showed up more on my lips than I thought it would. But what really sold me on this color, was that I put it over Nars Roman Holiday pink lip pencil - so beautiful I can't stand it

Sweet Tooth is still my favorite color, it is very pretty on. I also bought Honey Bare which looks fabulous over the slimshine Missy that I B2M for today. Honey Bare is so so pretty because of the gold shimmer in it. Now I see why erine has so darn many of that color

I loved them soooo much that I bought back ups of Sweet Tooth, Honey Bare & EZ Baby....geesh, I can't believe that I bought more ugghh Ooohh...I got to order the VAE with my backups when I got home YAY!!!

where do you see an expiration date? because to the best of my knowledge these have no expiration dates. there's no symbol giving the number of months these are good after opened.

unfortunately there are artists out there that don't care about their job and pay no attention to information like THE LAUNCH OF A COLLECTION!!! dumbasses!!!

the only excuse for something like this is when the date gets changed, cause not everyone gets the info, so people are unsure, but to be completely ignorant when the date for tendertones wasn't changed is rediculous and unexcusable.

as of monday, we hadn't received ours yet. when i went in today to get my gratis, the display wasn't out, so we obviously hadn't received it since monday. and it wasn't in our gratis, so i don't have e-z baby or sweet tooth to play with, but, my shipment of honey bare (got 6 of these and more backups of take a hint and hush, hush) and more (yes more) VAE came today. i am so glad i got honey bare! its gorgeous!!!

Audrey, I did the same thing today. I swatched it on my hand & was like uh, that's really pretty but prolly won't show up on my lips...then the MA said lets try it on your lips...& since I was THE first - the pot was clean, I tried it on I LOVE LOVE it on my lips. I always complain how nothin shows up on my darn pigmented lips

See, swatching these on your hand is VERY different from the lips. I guess it's back to the mall tomorrow for me I REFUSE to swatch tendertones from the tester Lucky you, being the first user. All of the testers at my counter were nasty already

Girls, don't swatch on your hands! Always test a lip product on your lips! You can swatch an e/s on your hands or maybe a blush, but not more

Edit: I bought Tendertone Sush! last year (the green one). I had NEVER bought it just after swatching on my hands. I thought: A green lip color?
But it looks gorgeous on my lips! I love how people look if I take out my green balm...

Omg you guys weren't kidding!!!!

These lil things are soooooo pretty and smell oh so good! I was drooling at the counter. I tested all of them on my hand and I was the first one to test all of them out! haha I only picked up one though. Hush Hush caught my eye b/c of the shimmer in it. Its so gorgeous on. And the smelllllllllll.......... mmmm...aaahhhhh

The new yellowish greenish one - Tread Gently was really really pretty & shimmery! But I didn't get it because I was limiting myself...imagine that
