Now that would be amazing! If they were to do purple packaging, I'd definitely be all over it! I'm actually quite relieved, between this and Naughty Nauticals, I think I'll be getting 3-4 items at most.

Picky? Not at all. If they want my money, it better be worth it.

Orange reminds me of fall, not summer. And it's not a colour I like either way. This looks gross to me... At least I'll save money.

I think we're rather spoiled...besides, almost everyone changes their opinion once they see the collection in person. These promo pics never do the real deal any justice.

Yea, thats it........SPOILED. LOL. I actually love the packaging more than the actual colors. I am not going by these pics either (although they do help, thanks Shimmer). I made the mistake of almost not buying anything from Heatherette and buying too much from Fafi for that reason.

We shall see. Who knows, it might be one of those collections that are very pretty in person.

This is only part of the collection too, right? According to the first look there's more to come. I hope I like none of if though, I can't afford it with Naught Nauticals taking all my money...

Me too! But I'm not so sure about the Naughty Nauticals. I think its perfect for those who love blues, though. They should have a purple collection. I would have died and gone straight to heaven.

But anyway, I hope there's more. I kinda wish that this collection had a quad with really nice colors, like the olden days.

I am also joining the bandwagon of those hoping for great eyeshadows, specifically great SINGLE eyeshadows. I will actually get quite a bit of this, orange is one of my favourite colours and I do like the packaging. I also wear a kinda orangey lipstick quite often and tend to gravitate towards those, so I could be getting quite a bit from this. Hopefully not because Naughty Nauticals is going to absolutely DRAIN me.

Awesome packaging aside (yes, I adore orange), I only see one lipstick I like, so far. Although, who can tell from promo pictures - my first impressions never match the actual product, I wasn't going to touch Fafi, and I bought two lipsticks and both quads, so it just goes to show. Oh, and I will be getting Pink Grapefruit - I've always wanted it. Other than that, though...

I am hoping for great eyeshadow singles, too. Like a really nice summery green, in a veluxe pearl formula. And maybe a true gold - no lustres, though.

That orange... is really gross... but I really want to take that applicator and put it on my Sock Hop Lipglass from Heatherette! THAT would be cute, says I!

I'm pretty disappointed with this packaging from those promo images. I really hope that they eiether look amazing in person, or the eyeshadows makeup for the strange packaging. All the other years, the summer collections' special packaging felt right, and like a tradition, but this orange feels forced to me. Like, desperate. =/ I really hope I love in person, I really really do.

I agree, that yellow nail polish is really gross.

And while looking at the pictures a little longer, I have to admit, I love how the orange lipstick looks with the packaging. But I guess that's just me. I love how Melrose Mood looks in the Heatherette packaging. And I like the orange. But the other colors, look sorta gross. This collection is gonna be a REALLY hard one to sell to anyone, I think. Young girls don't really like orange, and older women don't want to pull out a funky pumpkin orange compact or lipstick.

Why couldn't MAC go with a creamy orange? Or a Paradisco orange?

Okay now that I look at it, I'm blown away. I think Pleasureseeker will be a really good one, and Sci-Fi Duelity will be a really good one, it was like an Avon gloss colour I have from many years ago. I'd get all the lipglasses except Supreme, Pink Grapefruit looks awesome. The nail polishes are something that I hope turn up really nicely in person, it is impossible to judge a nail polish without seeing it myself.

Grr...this is killing me...

I really like the packaging. I would love it more if it was a pearlized orange. How cool would it be if each of the 3 parts had different color packaging???? I would love it!

As a lot of people have said everyone bitches and moans about this special packaging until the collections come out. I can't remember a collection that wasn't complained about whether it was Lure, Fafi (although that ended up being justified because of those damn stickers), Heatherette, Moonbathe, so on and so on. Most of the time people come around when they actually see the products in the store.

The orange is ok....but is it just me or is the third lipglass a different shade? It's probably just lighting

I like the look of the orange lipstick, but everything else is a bit bleh to me.

i just noticed theres a lipglass called "Soft & Slow".. Smoke Signals had another lipglass called "Soft and Slow" and they are completely different >_< how hard is it to come up with a new l/g name?

i agree with the above posters... i dont see why everybodies complaining!!! i bet when the collection comes out you will buy at least one item, its not really about the packaging but the makeup, if you really wanted a bright pink lipstick and the shade you liked was in packaging you hated... you wouldnt leave it would you? i dont see why packaging is important to some people, yes i do love cute packaging myself but i think the actual product is more important. get over it!!!

p.s remember when nearly everyone on here was complaining about heatherettes packaging? saying how its 'tacky' and child like? yet they went out and bought loads from the collection.
theres more important things to cry about than some makeup packaging

I doubt it's a different l/g than the one that was released with Smoke Signals. Those promo pics are notoriously off color-wise. On that note...how hard is it to come up with new colors? I really wish they'd just do re-promotes of the really popular LE colors and not re-promote stuff that was just out or is part of the regular line.
