Re: MAC - MAC for Ungaro Discussion

I can't wait to see swatches of the paint pot! The description sounds gorgeous! I hope that it is lighter than bare study with more shimmer.

I think I just might get the lipglass only for packaging sake. Hahahaha. The eyeshadow won't have the print on it I think... so I could pass on it.. AND it's a matte... which I'm not a big fan of anyways, I just like the color. (And I just LOVE how we're into almost the exact same colors, so we can gush and discuss what we want. x3)

So whether or not I get them is also another story for me..

I agree that while it is nothing as fancy as heatherette, barbie etc- it does fall in line with Mcqueen in its minimalist approach to packaging. I think the hot pink writing goes well with the colors housed in the packaging

You know you are loving it so much because it has PINK written all over it

You would look fabulous in that dress I am sure. Me on the other hand

Hahaha, thanks so much! I don't even want to think of all the side boob action I would have going on. That dress would have to be taped down on me. lol!

Re: MAC - MAC for Ungaro Discussion

I'm SOOOO excited for this collection! I'm not much for dark CCB's, so I think those, the pencil (eh, it's perm....I can get it any time) and the brow set, and freckletone (b/c I already have it) will be the only things I'm skipping. So I guess my haul wont be THAT bad. I'm excited about the See Thru lip color... These next few months are going to be meager at the TDoll household...

Re: MAC - MAC for Ungaro Discussion

Mkay, so I'm quite the MAC newbie and I am so confused over this Beauty Powder. Is it blush-like? Scented? Sort of a 'duster' or glowy finish? Lightscapade MSF in pressed powder form?

I checked maccosmetics.com and they have loose beauty powder; is this the same thing, but (duh) pressed?

Yes! I think that many of us use the Beauty Powders as a light blush.

I am not pale enough I use them as a highlighter over a blush.

Re: MAC - MAC for Ungaro Discussion

If I'm not pale enough for something, I instead choose to believe that the product does not have enough pigmentation. Because, well, I'm bloody pale.

...Adina, I'm definitely giggling at the image of you in that dress. I'm sorry.

So, MAC, how about I trade you my soul for one of everything coming out in the next year, k?

And, I'm not sure how I feel about the packaging. It looks cute, but I feel like I would get tired of it after a while.
i know what you mean! i like the Heatherette packaging for example, but it is a little bright/garish sometimes.
haha once i pulled a Heatherette BP out of my purse & i was sad I couldn't fit it into the wristlet I was bringing into the club with me & my gfs were like... you want to bring in BUBBLE TAPE?? lol!

Re: MAC - MAC for Ungaro Discussion

Question:

As a lipglass lover I have noticed:

There are two lipglasses in the collection picture, but just one in the descriptions (Pastel Emotion). Where is the description of the second one? I want them both...

Anyone??

Re: MAC - MAC for Ungaro Discussion

one of them is a see thru lip colour in Not So Shy! [Jewel tone berry stain].

I think I just shat myself, ahahaha. Well why not, bubble tape is good too! Yummm bubble tape+ MAC (heatherette, at that)=life.

Re: MAC - MAC for Ungaro Discussion

Hmm. Most people think my Heatherette stuff is absolutely cute hahahaha. I don't think Ungaro is as garish, but it's definitely in the same line of style in terms of packaging, at least to me.

One more stupid question: See Thru Lip Colour is comparable to a lipglass? I mean with an applicator?

Re: MAC - MAC for Ungaro Discussion

I think it's a super pretty collection that would have been perfect for spring...but I don't think it's really that great for fall??

I like the colors. I thought they actually are nice for fall. I read (in Glamour I think) that he was inspired by Monet's paintings. He said the ideal look was a cool brown smokey eye with pink lips. I dunno, that seems fall-ish to me. The coral color is pretty, but I like it because you can brighten up these darker fall looks with it (in small amounts...lol). But I'm going to love wearing more of that color in the spring and summer. I love the lip colors too. I love this whole collection.
