See I'm still fairly new to MAC, and I don't have a ton of depth in my e/s collection, or my makeup collection in general, so I look at a lot of it as building up the library, shall we say. Plus blues are really going to be in fashion for eye makeup for the next several months...so it's even better for me.

I won't tell yours if you don't tell mine! I gotta say though, as much as I love the teals and blues, most of them just don't look that good on me I've tried Shimmermoss, Parrot and Mood Ring and of these, Mood Ring is the most flattering. If anyone has any suggestions for an olive-toned NC25 for a tealish shade from this or the perm. collection, feedback is appreciated!

I do think though that I'll still manage to walk away with 3 items from this collection! Not bad, until one factors in the other two summer collections and Dresscamp (2 items today)!

Thank you for the reminder about the 21-palette from Claire's (hope they're on sale); I need to get me a couple. 'Cause I want all of these es, too, and will be doing some serious depotting!

I love that these es are in my favorite finishes - Frost and Veluxe Pearl!

PERFECT!!!!! Thats why I'm happy that this collection came out and I dont feel forced to get any eyeshadows from the Naughty Nauticals Collection. That is more of the blue I'm looking for.

Someone who works for MAC (corporation) must have been reading here. Just like someone stated, they didn't include ANY lustres but instead FROSTS AND VELUXE PEARLS. The two best finishes (IMO, at least).

Do you ladies think the lustreglasses from the Naughty Nauticals collection would match with the shadows from this collection? Because that's where I think my budget is going.

I will be even MORE excited about these shadows if that is the case. I have lots of bright colors, and would love to add more jewel toned shades to my collection. I bought all of the c-shock shadows, and while I loved the colors, they are just a little too bold for everyday for me. I love color, but I don't always want it to be so "in your face."

I agree! Frosts and VPs are my favorite too! I definately think that the NN l/g will work with this collection. I wear pink lips with nearly everything though, so I might not be the best person to listen to.

Yes, they will....I originally bought the Claire palette to use the pans to press pigments to put in my MAC 15-pan palette. But ended up putting the pans back in the palette 'cause it's as sturdy as MAC's 15-pan and has a see-thru lid. The Claire pans with es in them were cheaper than MAC's 15-pan palette. When they were on sale, BOGO free, I bought four of them.

I totally agree, I love frosts and veluxe pearls!!

I think the Cool Heat e/s and the NN l/g will work great together.

Yesterday I wore Parrot and Aquadisiac e/s with Cult Fave l/g. I love that look! Green-blue eyes and pink lips. I recommend a soft blush like tenderling.

I have had update and all the brighter shadows are much richer and deeper than the C-Shock shadows. I don't know how to describe it. For example, Bang On Blue is chalky and flat looking. The Cool Heat eyeshadows are more pigmented, easier to blend, and more dimensional looking. I don't know how to describe it!!! Someone help. xD

hey bunny, i go to update tmrw, so i haven't seen the colors yet, but i said a few posts back that i think they will be more deep sea-like in color compared to c shock (more bright, tropical island, rain foresty). is that the way you'd describe them?

Hmmm... I suppose... I really don't know how to describe it. All the colors are unique and pretty. And it's like comparing Engraved to Feline Kohl Power. Engraved is great on it's own, but when you compare it to Feline, you realize how rich and deep and smoldering it is. At least that's how I felt when I saw Cool Heat and Blue Flame. They just knock every blue and teal out of the water in my opinion. You'll see for yourself Erine! They're soo fun, everyone is gonna love this collection!

Am I making any sense? Haha!!
