MAC - Colour Forms Discussion - Page 11

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

Werd about the model in the promo pic - that's so retro glam! LOVE the packaging too - much better than previous Nordie's collections.

this collection is awesome!
Best packaging yet.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I think I liked the other pics of the colour form powders....hmm oh well....will prob still buy them anyways.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

The promo image is stunning, and the packaging is experimental but definitely welcomed. i love the logo!

Like bunny, I am wondering if the products being pressed side by side is good or bad. I wouldn't want my burgundy eyeshadow to end up in my beige eyeshadow and such. For face powders i could see the practicality of mixing but not for my eyeshadows

Nevertheless, I will still probably walk away with at least half of this collection

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I love the packaging, it is like Christian Dior nameplates they were doing years back. Love the fact that the brushes come with a brush holder and bag, will buy one just for that and I need the SE 187 for blush. Tea Time, dark shimmery p/g that I will def. get use out of, been looking for a deep coco that is not matte, if you know of one besides Mulch, holla!, any brand.

I agree about colors bleeding together, don't know maybe it has a tiny divider that we dont see. The packaging on lips is awesome. We all will fuss about this and will buy at least 3-4 products and that will add up to at least $130.

hopefully they aren't stickers. whatever they are, the lipsticks and powders look ghetto with em.

let's just hope they aren't.

It's so strange how the color form powder promo pics that were just posted look completely different from the ones I saw before on another site where each of the four colors were divided in quadrants ...oh well not a big deal!!

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

The packaging is lovely but nothing interests me product wise. Thank God for that! The compact and the blush palettes I am not digging at all (wait, are they blushes?) lol
Maybe the only thing that is probably worth getting are the pigments and the pink lippie

i know what you mean. they remind me of those magnetic stripes used to detect shoplifting. not a good look at all

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

My God! I definitely WANT!!!

That warm eye palette is calling me, especially the red VP e/s.

Yeah, I don't mind them too much on the lipsticks, but on the powder?! The placement is all strange.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I must not be well, cause I am not really excited about anything in this collection

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I hope they arent stickers too but I guess it doesnt bother me if they are! I am really liking the look of the cool eyes palette - wonder how it will work being palette where the colours are conjoined though - whether they will end up all smudgey?
The piggies are what I MOST looking forward to! I cannot wait

they're more like a bronzer. they supposed to add a "sunkissed look".

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I'm interested in the warm palette but all of the colors touching weirds me out. Like how does that work? Especially with the lipsticks and lipglass in the lip palette. I don't want dust from one shadow flying into other shadows.

I was sent these from the Nordic MAC P.R-office, so I'm hoping they are the real deal

The pigments look nice, but nothing I need a fullsize jar of. I am more excited for the Overrich pigments so I will wait for those. I really didn't want the Richmetal Highlighters, but I LOVE the colors. What do we do with these again?
I will pass the pigments, too. I already have many fullsized jars and love the colours I have got. I will wait for the pigments from Starflash.
The Richmetal Highlighters look gorgeous, but I have my Cream Color Bases and want to save my money for the palettes and the brush sets. I am thinking about getting two brush sets!?
The packaging is awesome!!

I can't imagine that there will be those stickers. Could these be working products??

Do you talk about the Colour Form Powders?

Erine, I really want Play Around Pink. Do you think I need Sun Centered as well? I use Refined Golden as a bronzer regularly and also have MSF Warmed.

(Stupid question, I know. The collector in me says yes...).

LOL yeah. Okay product, cute packaging that was BADLY EXECUTED. Ugh, that was the worst. Like drugstore packaging.

The Colour Forms packaging looks promising...

My thoughts exactly...As some things appeal to me, I'm not completely "wowed yet". But, MAC always seems to suprise me..! Hoping the green pigment is more of a kelly green color and not so much forest green.

Really? I like them. I think they are a kind of retro disco/speed racer kind of cool. It is the same kind of feeling I think they were going for in this bag and the lipsticks:

I think those Colour Form logos are kind of a nod to the kitschy camp glamour of their earlier days (RuPaul comes to mind).

That being said, please let that logo be printed on and not be a sticker.
