MAC - Colour Forms Discussion - Page 14

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I'm with KikiB. Seeing the looks doesn't change my wishlist any. Only the pink Colour Forms Powder (maybe) and 1 l/s (B2M). There is just way too much coming this summer that I want. I am not really even tempted by this collection anymore after seeing the MES blush and e/s and the Starflash e/s.

Has anyone seen these lipsticks IRL yet?

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

Does anyone know if those richmetal highlighters are gonna crease, if used as eyeshadows?

I think I read somewhere that they are similar to Cream Color Bases. I don't think they are going to be suitable as eyeshadows, at least for me. In the Florida heat, they will crease in ten seconds flat

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I for one think I need all of those lipsticks.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I am interested in the lipsticks and maybe a one of the powders. Most of this Nordy's stuff ends up at the CCO so I might just wait for the brush sets & palettes to get there. I really love the face charts but I agree that I should save my money for the Mineralize blushes and the collections with eye shadows.

TIA
Here in Germany you will get the palettes and the brush sets at every counter.
There will be only two counters that will sell the rest of the collection.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

Oh, thanks. Good to know.
Do you know which two counters sell the rest?

I am not sure, but it should be KaDeWe in Berlin and Ludwig Beck in Munich.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

Can someone please explain the highlighters to me? And the... powder?

From my understand, the "circles" are the highlighters and the squares things are the powders? PLEASE correct me if I am wrong. And can someone explain their uses to me?

Thanks so much from now, I'm completely lost!

You can compare the richmetal higfhlighters to the cream color bases.

Richmetal Highlighter is a highlighter that can be used to create intense, multi-dimensional, metallic-looking effects on the skin.

The Colour Form Powders can be used as a blush, as a bronzer or as a highlighter as well. It depends on your skin tone.

HTH!

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I am actually very excited for the powders.I was so upset with my heatherette BP that these look beautiful.I'm planning on getting both.I' hope they are like the barbie beauty powders from the BLM collection. The lipsticks are a cool idea but I have to see swatches first.

Thanks Audrey! I'm afraid they would disappoint as an eyeshadow, just like those metal-x thingies!

these are nothing like the BLM BPs. first off, these aren't beauty powders. these are mean to be used like bronzers. the difference between these and bronzers is that these have a mixture of colors, do you can make different color combinations by focusing more on one color. secondly, these aren't gonna have as much shimmer as the BLM BP. each color in the compact has a different level of shimmer, so again, you can customize the look that you'll get.

These are meant as bronzers? Even the pink one? I was hoping to use it as a blush... wonder if there is will enough color for that. The pink powder is the only thing I want from this collection I think

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I hope someone can swatch:
  • Gilded Green - Frosty mid-tone green w/ gold pearlized pigments
  • Tea Time - Bronzed brown w/ multi-dimensional pearlized pigments
These are the only products I am interested in with this collection.

im sure you could use either as a blush. they're meant to give a sunkissed glow, like bronzers. but i'm sure it won't hurt to use them as a blush. i was just saying these aren't anything like the BLM BPs.

I think I will use the pink one as a blush, too.

For me, it's definitely the pigments that have my attention.

Thinking of Overrich I will pass all pigments. My focus is on the brush sets and the powders.

I'm more interested in Overrich piggies as well. I want to try some lippies from this collection and get the basic brush set (I don't have any travel size brushes)

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I can never pass on pigments no matter how hard I try, lol. I have so many it's amazing but if a new color comes out the addiction raises it's head and says "must have...must buy", lol

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I'm really interested in the lipsticks and Royal Flush.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I love the look of this collection... I'm considering buying:

-A color form powder
-Jardin Aires pigment
-2 or 3 of the lipsticks
-Advanced brushes
-Cool eyes

and MAYBE basic brushes.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I love this whole collection, I'm so glad Nordie's just upped my credit limit (although my bank account won't be)!

Brush sets are cute, but... I love my full size. *pets them*
