This is my other fave blending brush... I love it to blend colors that are already on the lid... or to blend one color over the other... i dont like it much for the crease though cuz it always seems to get messy, and for a wash of color or for a soft highlight its GREAT!!!

When i discovered the 217 brush, i thought i would never use this brush again. The fact is i still need this brush. It blends very well when i apply on color too harshly. It applies color not as vividly as the 217, but still essential to have to make sure things blend well. i usually use this brush first to have a wash of color on my crease, and then go back and use the 217 to apply more color where i need it. That way there is not a harsh line where my highlite and crease color begins. Hope that made sense! I will never doubt this brush again!

This by far is my favorite blending brush. Some of the other blending brushes give a sharper effect. This one is great for subtle crease work. I have no idea what I did before I got this brush. It's amazing.

I recently saw this brush at a CCO...the first time I saw it I didn't buy it. After about a week of serious consideration, due to the fact that most people rave about it, I went back and purchased it. I just tested it 5 minutes ago and I am SOLD! It takes the guess work out of blending. I own a 217 and I like that simply to apply shadow, not to blend. I adore this brush and can't believe I waited SO LONG to get it.

This brush is perfect for blending into your crease, blending eyeshadows together, and getting the perfect wash of color! I could not work without this brush.

I like this brush for blending my crease color upward, or blending my highlight. Also good for getting a nice soft blend on hard-to-blend shadows. It is veeeery soft though. If your looking for a good blend, but still wanna keep your look dramatic, go for the 217. Kinda too big to use on my actual lids. I do have tiny lids though.

I definitely like this brush more than my 217. Maybe it's because I own the 217SE instead of the full sized 217, but I feel like 217 doesn't blend as well as this 224 brush.
I have to admit that the 224 is bigger and fluffier than any other blending brush, but it does it's job and when worked correctly, will place just the right amount of color on the crease as well as you outer v. it places color softly and lightly which makes it easier for me to blend and define.

Definitely recommend anyone looking for a blending brush to invest in

I dont wear eyeshadow so cant comment on it for its intentional purpose. After watching Pixiwoo/Pixi2woo i bought this brush for concealer and its AMAZING for that! Really buffs the product out! Gives great coverage and no hard edges or cakiness! works well on both blemishes and under the eyes! It just defuses the product.. wouldnt be without now..

Would you buy this product again? Yes, but I don't think I'll need to!

This was my first MAC eye brush and I've been very pleased with it! It's very soft, quite fluffy and I am able to use this to apply color anywhere - all over the lid, the brow bone, the crease, and the outer corner. Basically this is a brush I am able to use to do everything. It blends out harsh lines SO well and really pulls together the whole eye look. If I want more definition I will use a smaller more dense brush like the 217, but this is great to use for everyday and when I want to do a more natural look. I also like this for under eye concealer and for applying powder in smaller areas like the sides of my nose. Great brush, good price and lovely packaging - I would definitely repurchase.

I love this brush.  It is soft, fluffy, and flexible.  It's perfect to gently blend shadows, or apply a soft and sheer application of colour.  Perfect for applying liquid foundation around the nose, and concealer under the eyes and around the face.

I don't really use this brush as an eyeshadow blending brush, because I find that it kind of over blends my eyeshadows because the brush is so large. But, I do like using this brush for my under concealer and powder.
