I'm a lipglass addict and I thought that the lipglasses were GORGEOUS, culture clash and sonic vibe were my faves, I didnt swatch them but they had a gorgeous depth to the colors. As far as the lipsticks go, I'm a HUGE fan of Fast Thrill (frost), It caught my eye right away and is probably the only lipstick I'll be getting from this collection, its just such a gorgeous pink. Vanitys Child lipstick is almost colorless in a way. (I love that name though! Vanitys Child!). I was excited for Dangerously Hot lipstick because its an amplified and the color payoff on those is freaking amazing, but I wont be getting it, its far too dark and its almost dull in color, but for a different skin tone it would be gorgeous, but not on us pale girls hahah! (ahh joy for being NC15). I dont think I saw Mellow Mood lipstick. I loved odd couple e/s because I'm a fiend for puprles, but in my opinion, the purple is dupeable and the otherside of it reminds me of Mercurial MSF e/s which I have from last year, so I wont be getting it. I think if you're going to indulge on the E/s from this collection definitely get ones that are REALLY unique. I loved Polar Opposites, LOVED. Its definitely on my list of considerations. The silver side is very strong and reminds me of electra in the way that is applies, but its much more white then electra is. In my opinion, play on plums e/s, love connection e/s, and pink split e/s were gorgeous but not flashy enough for me, I have a ton of pink and plum colors and I dont think I need anymore. Two to glow e/s was gorgeous though, nice deep bright gold that matches well with the other half of it. I could see myself using that one.

damn....i think itll be hard to get only one mes. i'm a sucker for these. love them! (well except my first ones ether and lovestone--far too much glitter and imo blah colours)

Also, I'd like to mention... most of these mes are MUCH MUCH MUCH brighter and have so much better color payoff then the MSF e/s from last year
I was freaking so dissapointed in the MES last year, I got one, (mercurial) and ive used it once. In my opinion they were A: too glittery, b: too flakey, c: not enough color payoff. Well ladies, MOVE OVER, THE MES OF THE FUTURE IS HERE! haha. they must have reformulated or something because the color payoff is 100 times better and theres no pesky flakes or glitter peices.

Yes I do agree, the formula of these eyeshadows looked and felt really smooth, I tested a little bit on my hand and it did glide on really beautifully and felt soft/light. Also I do agree the bonus is no glittery flakes, those flakes in Mercurial especially, were such a pain in the backside, made the colour look really patchy on in my opinion. I don't think we'll be having any of those problems with these though. I still won't be convinced by the brighter colours though.

I dont know how often you wear pinks, purples, and plums Audrey, but I think that a lot of the pinky purpley plum type MES would look gorgeous on you!

Honestly, I just posted a FOTD wearing purple today, and was telling the girls who posted in that thread that I plan on beefing up my purple/plum collection. Man oh man, I am in such trouble! Maybe my daddy will buy me my collection wants for my birthday! *crosses fingers*

I definitely love the purples.
I have a whole palette + of purples pinks and plums, if you want I'll let you know which ones I use the most, I am NC15 but I can also wear NW15, Im in a weird skin tone, the only reason I use NC15 is because its lighter then NW15. So we have esentially the same skin tone and eye color

I think play on plums would look gorgeous on you! If you like the purple side of Odd Couple but arent in love with the other side of it, take a look at getting Parfait Amour, they are quite smiliar.

I just did these really quick swatches for you, some of them are more intense colors but you're awesome so you can handle it haha! :P

A lot of these are good crease colors or lid colors, I love digit as a highlight for purples but I see you already have that.




I definitely think you could pull a lot of those, they would look great with your eye color. I tried to choose ones that maybe you hadn't considered.
Beautiful Iris and Parfait Amour go fantastic together!
So do hepcat and stars and rockets.
Just looking at that picture is getting my imagination going! Swish and Star Voilet are great together as well, Swish as a wash and star voilet in the crease, with maybe a nude highlight like blanc type or shroom.

Oh, complete with pictures! You are so sweet! I have been wanting Parfait Amour, so I will check out Odd Couple and decide on one or the other. The swatches are awesome, and I will definately write them down and check them out next time I go to the counter. Did you think the blue and green MES were similar to any other colors. I have ALOT of blues and greens, but they are my weakness... Thank you SO much for your effort in reviewing and swatching!

Um as far as the green one goes, its a bright green and in my opinion there is nothing like it... its bright and summery and fun, its nothing like Juxt.. which is the only one I can think to compare it too. Juxt is soooo dull compared to this MES. I didnt swatch the blue, but its soooooooooo vibrant oh my gosh! But I dont think I'll buy it, I have a feeling its going to look somewhat close to freshwater and I think its going to be a waste of money for me.

I have all the MES from the last two MES releases and I never use them (apart from the red in Mi'lady as its my baby) but yet i'm still extremly tempted to buy all these shadows. Someone needs to tell me how to kill the bug that is causing me to buy all the LE shadows I can get my hands on!!

Hmmmm, if it is similar to Freshwater, I think I will pass too. I have Blue Calm (pro) that is similar to Freshwater, and Submarine, and about 10 other blues, including Silversmith MES. I just don't know if I can pass up blue. I am SOOO excited for the green one now!

Lol, yeah - he flipped over to Private Parts (that stupid Howard Stern movie) on TV and I said the actress that plays his wife (at least early on in the movie) is the same one from West Wing and now has a new USA show. He disagreed and I said he was wrong, she was just much skinnier in Private Parts. We bet $100 and I pulled up IMDB and won! He didn't want to bet because he said he felt bad about "taking my money" but I think he knew he was in too deep once I named $100 as the term!

I am looking forward to Mellow Mood and Fast Thrill too! Thankfully I have 2 sets of empties I love the looks of Culture Clash, but I am thinking it might be similar to Sweetness from Barbie, which I have 2 of. Sonic Vibe looks gorgeous too! I wasn't really thinking about Pink Split or Play on Plums, but now the reviews have got me thinking... I am back to wanting Polar Opposites again, along with Fresh Green, Sea and Sky and Odd Couple. I am so excited to hear that the texture of these are better (though I love the ones I have with the crappy texture too ). I was hoping to get the 227 with this haul, but it looks like it is going to have to wait unless I get TONS of giftcards for my birthday. As usual, my wishlist is ever changing for this collection and Sonic Chic. It looks more and more like I will be skipping Colour Forms all together now, and I am perfectly ok with that!

elegant-one I know what you mean about pink split! It looks so gorgeous but pinks tend to make me look sick when I use them on my eyes.

I agree with Audrey about skipping color forms. I think I am going to invest more in this collection especially because I love eye shadows. A girl can never have too many eye shadows in my opinion.

Sadly I missed out on the barbie collection (Except for Real Doll, I bought that from someone!) so I couldn't quite say, it is a gorgeous gloss, I'm quite a fan.

In my opinion, I'd say the most unique ones are... Fresh Green, Polar Opposites, Hot Contrast, and the rest of the pinks and golds I know I wouldnt have a problem finding a dupe for, even if it wasn't exact, sometimes a pink is a pink is a pink, if you know what I mean. But I do also want to mention, I'm sure there will be many people who wont want the ones I suggested just because they are either too dark, or too flashy, etc, and in that case the other ones would be perfect for them. But for me, those three that I mentioned are the most unique. But I also love two to glow, that gold is gorgeous! haha, so we'll see what happens when they are released.

And like we were saying before Audrey, I think that Odd Couple would be great for you, unless you want to get parfait amour e/s instead of odd couple, thats always an option. Atleast that way you could hold off on it and pick up Parfait Amour whenever you wanted, since its perm.

Yeah, Pinks & Reds can be funny colors sometimes. If I use it more than to just look at I'll probably highlight with it (pink split) Or I'll just cover myself in pink
