I love glittery gloss...I do...I just hate sticky glittery gloss. Stickiness is what keeps me from succumbing to temptation for other lines. Stila's 24kt Luxe Glosses inspire no such strength in me...as they're not sticky. And they're shimmery. And they feel really nice. And they wear well. And they're SO DAMN PRETTY!

Anyway...

at $30 this is a STEAL. They're full size and they're amazing. My only quibble (and it's a small one, really) is that I wish the 24kt glosses used the click pen like Stila's other glosses do. It makes controlling how much product is released SO much easier.

I have to tell you guys how much I love this set, it's got a range from sheer to decidedly pigmented, and the shimmered glosses satisfy anyone who loves a bit of glimmer. They smell fantastic (some of them are fruity, some of them smell like vanilla cupcakes...it's yummy).

I can't believe I've never owned a Stila smudge pot. I've always felt hesitant to purchase one because the formula seemed very dry. I'm not sure if the testers were just dried out or if it's just a property of the formula itself. However, the new smudge pots are almost just as smooth as MAC's fluidlines, but they go on a little sheer and have fine glitter like reflects. Purple Pumps is the only shade I decided to pick up. It's a beautiful violet with hints of fine pink glitter. The color is nice and vibrant when you look at it in the pot and I believe it's buildable. It drys to a smudge proof finish that's a tad dry. So, I'd recommend keeping it to a thin layer when applied all over the lids. All-in-all, this was the best formula and shade for me to test out! I think the cobalt one may be next...

Just an FYI for you ladies looking for something to give a PERFECT glow to your cheeks (and collarbones and nose and decollete)...Stila's all over shimmer liquid luminizer is PERFECT.

What I've started doing is putting a dot on my cheeks (I use the Kitten shade, I believe it was LE) then blending it with a stippling brush. After that, I go over the outside of my cheekbones with the skinfinish, blush, mineralized blush, or beauty powder of my choice. Perfect glow. Perfect blending, Perfect softness. Not glittery or chunky at all.

The things you do to my wallet in the name of filling my traincase with amazingly gorgeous makeup like these glosses and the rest of your line are probably illegal in 42 of the 50 states, but man. It's oh so gooood.
