Anyone know the pay??

I may have an opportunity to get a "third key" position at a Nordstrom for MAC. I know Nordstrom generally pays much lower per hour (plus commission) than working for MAC directly but I'm just trying to find out if anyone has any idea how much a third key might make? I don't want to just out-right ask before I even interview for it.

Hate to tell ya, but you're probably not going to get a straight answer. MAC employees are not to discuss pay.

at nordstrom you are a base hourly and all full-timers make the same rate. the rates vary on the store & location. but you can average a higher hourly rate by what you sell per hour. sometime people make an extra dollar here and there because they are a pacesetter or in the top tier but from working at nordstrom, all full-timers make the same base and then you control how much you make with your commission. the nice thing is that you aren't commission based but the commission does make a difference!

For 3rd key within Nordstrom, I don't believe there is a pay raise.
