Brush Repair

Krazy Glue is great for fixing brushes. Setting time is about 2 minutes.

Ferrule Repair

With the tip of the applicator, spread a thin amount of glue around the side head of the handle... On most brushes, the flat end of the handle will not press against the bottom of the bristles, so no sense in putting glue there.

Then insert the handle into the ferrule, it's best to elevate the brush while the glue is setting.

Bristle Repair

Spread two to three thin layers of glue around the sides and base of the bristles (about 1/2 cm), the 1st and 2nd layers will soak into the bristles (this will prevent any shedding), the 3rd layer will just sit on top of the other layers...

Then carefully insert the base of the bristles into the heel of the ferrule.

If any excess glue squeezes around the sides of the ferrule, just saturate a Q-tip with acetone and gently wipe the excess glue away. Again, it's best to elevate the brush while the glue is setting.
