Hi, i'm new to Specktra so apologies if this is in the wrong place!
I applied last week for a position at Estee Lauder as a Beauty Advisor. I was invited to take part in a phone interview, which I passed, and was told my details were being forwarded to the area manager. A few days ago I got a call from the counter manager saying they wanted to invite me in for a 2-3 hour 'on counter experience', which is later this week. I'm really excited about it, but just wondered if anyone had any advice/ past experiences to share about what exactly to expect? This would be my first counter job.
Also, I asked the girl on the phone whether there were any specific dress requirements, and she said to 'wear black and look smart'. I'm not sure how formal to go, and also wondered if anyone had any advice relating to this? My idea at the moment is to wear either:
1) http://www.boohoo.com/restofworld/clothing/dresses/icat/day-dresses/myla-sweetheart-neck-34-sleeve-skater-dress/invt/azz55032
OR
2) http://www.boohoo.com/day-dresses/adriana-jersey-long-sleeve-wrap-dress/invt/azz58947
Along with tights, some nice simple jewellery/ belt, and these boots: http://www.newlook.com/shop/shoe-gallery/boots/black-suedette-square-toe-ankle-boots_276225601 (which I already own)
Is this appropriate? I'm 20, so want to look professional but due to my age it's obviously quite easy to look overdressed!
Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance for any advice or opinions anyone can give me- I really want this job!
