Finding my MAC shade :)

Hey guys,
So I really want to get a mac concealer and MSF natural, but the thing is my closest mac store is about 4-5 hours away and I do not know my shade. Is there any possibility of finding your shade without going to a mac counter?

I am pretty sure that I am medium, but there is so many shades to choose from! Also what is the deal with the letters and numbering like NC20, NW15 etc?? I am really confused.

NW - Neutral Warm (pink undertones), NC - Neutral Cool (yellow undertones), the lower the number, the lighter the shade. I would highly recommend that if you want a MAC foundation, you need to go get matched. Every formula is different, sometimes I am NC15 and other times I am NW20. The coloring isn't perfectly consistent when you go from foundation type to foundation type. I would hate for you to guess and order and not get the right color; especially if you aren't familiar with their shading system. You could make it into a fun trip with your friends!
