I am so in love with it, I can't even tell you.
Here is what I bought:
Vika Fintrop Leg from Ikea 4 at $10 each
Big chunk of wood with laminate top from hardware store $10
Office Pencil drawer bought from Officeduck.com $25
Hamilton Desk Hutch from Target $50 (I painted it white)
Musik lights from Ikea 2 at $15 each
Custom Cut mirror $20
Total= $175
My DH built the box for the mirror and the lights because we are renting and didn't want to put a hole in the wall but I got the idea to create the hollywood style for cheap from here:

It doesn't hold all of my makeup (not by a long shot) but for me personally I would rather limit what I have in my reach when doing everyday makeup otherwise I can never find what I need. So in the big drawer I just have recently bought things, favorites and neglected items. I keep everything else in plastic drawers in my closet.

In the hutch, I have commonly reached for things and brushes/tools. (I have an aversion to clutter so I don't keep my brushes out like many do.)
