Is the Estee Lauder counter a good place to start?

Hi everyone,

I am based in the United Kingdom and have worked in Make Up and skin care (freelance) for around 6 years. Things have been pretty quiet on the Make Up front (as I have had children and haven't been able to dedicate the time to work on promoting my work)

Make Up is an area I love and really want to build a career in. Last year I had an interview at Bobbi Brown for a Counter Retail Artist. I didn't get the position, but have now got through the first stage telephone interview with Estee Lauder.

Is a Make Up Counter like Estee Lauder, a good place to start off and get experience? I have previous sales experience, so I'm not concerned about selling to customers. I want to do something I love! and kickstart a career in Make Up so any advice is hugely appreciated!

Thank you!
