Is there a resource to find out the going rate on rare MAC?

Where's the best place to figure out what old, limited edition MAC is worth? Is there a site that just lists the average current prices for the collectors?

My friend worked for MAC in the Playboy Collection days and has the entire collection BNIB PLUS the display stand. I knew enough to tell him he could probably get whatever he wanted for that, but I'd like to give him an actual dollar figure. If he wanted to sell it via eBay auction, whatever crazy people could bid it up as high as they want, but I think he just wants to sell it in a simpler way than that

You can always check eBay for completed (sold) auctions and get an idea of how much they previously sold for.
