Lipstick tube question

I got my first lipstick around two weeks ago (B2M) in the Soho MAC Store in London. And it doesn't have the MAC logo on the lid or anything... but a friend of mine got me a lipstick with B2M at the Harrods counter and I bought one on eBay - both DO have the logo.

Does anyone know why? I know mine is genuine because I got it myself and I know my friends one is genuine too. Confused.

Maybe a printing mistake? I had a tube of lipglass like that once.
