MUA Licensing repealed

Does anyone know if the credentials/discounts/professional title can still apply for MUAs certified in states that have repealed MUA licensing altogether? I have a license in the state of Maryland that has expired and I just found out I'm not able to renew it because MUA certification is now discontinued.

A lot of times there are alternate ways of showing proof that you are an MUA. Photos, call sheets, etc. and you should still qualify for professional discounts on makeup.
