Gel nails. lol. That's all they are, hun.

I met a girl over flickr that says she does them and her nails last up to a month with no chipping whatsoever.

I've never tried it and I've been pretty aprehensive about trying it though. Only because of the exposure to the UV light and such. =\ Kinda silly, I know.

yep they are gel nails.. really common in nail salons, just an alternative for acrylic. nothing really new.
they are alright i have had them before, i do not think they are worth the extra money though.. i liked acrylics better in my humble opinion.

Yup, they are gels, which can be natural or with a tip for length.

It's just gel nails (which is a type of acrylic, don't let anyone tell you different. I am a qualified nail tech) with no extension. Same issues, etc as with any acrylic, but okay if you keep up your maintenance.
