This may be a personal question, so feel free to not answer and please don't be offended. Would any of you be comfortable sharing what you all started out making, and if you got promoted to a counter manager position what you all were raised to, if anything?
I have a feeling that my store is not paying us as they should.
I started as a part time beauty adviser for $8:25. A few months in to that, they "saw my potential" and put me in the Counter manager position. I never received a raise. The store just gave us our annual raises and the other Counter manager is now making over a dollar more than me.
I don't know if I am being petty, or if I am being cheated. She didn't have any more experience than I did. We have both been making out months, we have both grown our clientele greatly. I just don't know.
Any thoughts?
