Stepping Outside of the MAC box...need help!!

OK so im trying to get into other cosmetic lines besides MAC and not sure where to begin...

im not rich so i figured i would try buying one staple/must-have item from diff lines...

i just need advice on what items from what line would be considered a must have...

sorry if this is a repeat topic [i tried doing a search but became SO overwhelmed]

This is just me personally. It might be helpful to also check what the "best of sephora" was where people vote what the best products are.
Foundation (liquid): MUFE mat velvet although HD is very popular too.
Foundation (powder): Bare escentuals although I've never tried. I like mommy makeup.
Blushes: NARS and MAC beauty powder blushes especially
Concealer: MUFE full cover but I like Cover FX
Powder: MUFE HD powder
Mascara: Dior is pretty popular
Eyeshadow: MAC, MUFE
Eyeliner: Urban decay 24/7 pencils, Bobbi Brown gel liners
Highlighter: MAC MSF
Lipstick: NARS

Here are my recs

Eyeshadows: MUFE, Nars, Urban Decay, Stila, Lorac (often over looked... but amazingly creamy and pigmented)
Foundation: MUFE (hands down), Hourglass (very expensive but worth it)
Lips: Nars, Dior, The Balm, Givenchy
Liners: MUFE, Urban Decay, and I adore the Shisedo cream liner beyond belief!
Bronzer: Guerlian terracotta is my holy grail of bronzers, Too Faced

I need MAC for blush and shadow first. Milani has nice blush and NYX has good shadow too.

For lipgloss I love Victorias Secret Beauty Rush, they have the yummiest flavors and cute shades.

For lipstick NYX is the best. The shade choice is amazing and the quality is even better. You can buy every shade you need for like the price of one MAC lipstick.

For bronzer Too Faced is the best, the pigment is so good, one compact will last forever, the $27 is well worth it to splurge.

For foundation/concealer/pressed powder I swear by Revlon Colorstay. I also love their Luxurious Eyeliner pencils, their all I wear for liner. They last without smudging better then my MAC pencils.

if you are on a budget go for NYX or milani eyeshadows, milani blushes, revoln colorstay foundation, l'oreal lipgloss, nyx lipsticks, wet & wild eyeliner and lipliner, i have tons of faves!
