What are your favorite MATTE pigments?

I love pigments, but I also love matte colors, and the vast majority of my pigments have some kind of shimmer in them. So I want to invest in some nice matte shades.

What are your favorite completely matte pigments? (And while I love MAC, please don't just stop there; I'd like to get recs from a variety of brands!)

i really like smoke signal by mac. but sadly is was LE. it was a dark maroon colour that is great in the crease for smokey purple eyes.

also is true chartruce a matte? i think it is and that is a fabulous bright green colour!

I love all the matte pigments from MAC and MUFE...but I guess it depends on your taste in colors...

GREEN: MAC Landscape Green is a great rich green; MAC True Chartreuse is a sour lemon kinda green (think Bitter e/s); MUFE Pure Pigment in Green is similar to the MAC Landscape Green

BLUE: MAC Clear Sky Blue is a very light sky blue, lighter than Mutiny, it's almost like Aqua e/s...a must have for a collector; MAC Blue Cyan is a beautiful mid-level blue, almost like Electric Eel e/s; MAC Marine Ultra is a deeper primary blue, it's closer to a navy but not that dark, almost a matte Freshwater e/s or Submarine e/s; MUFE Pure Pigment in Blue is also like Marine Ultra.

RED: MAC Basic Red is just that...basic red; Ditto for MUFE Pure Pigment in Red.

PURPLE: MAC Fench Violet is a beautiful light almost lilac color; MUFE Pure Pigment in purple is like the well known #92 in pigment form; MAC has some more darker matte purple/deep burgandy type pigments as well but I don't like darker colors myself...so...alas...

YELLOW: MAC Primary Yellow is again a primary yellow; Same for MUFE Pure Pigment in yellow.

PINK: MAC Cool Pink is a gorgeous light blue based pink (lovely); MUFE Pure Pigment in Pink is pigment version of #72, bright neon pink;

BLACK: Hello MAC Black Black Pigment...black as black; Same for MUFE Pure Pigment in Black.

CORAL: MAC Dusty Coral is a beauty!

BROWN: Only one, MAC Deep Brown.

WHITE/IVORY: MAC Pure White is Pure White and I love MAC Polished Ivory which is a nice creamy ivory color.

NEON: I love them all, MAC Neo-Orange, Electric Red, Green Space, Rock-it-Yellow, Magenta Madness, Full Force Violet, bright in your face colors!

well sorta, I think Clear Sky Blue is much more pigmented besides being completely matte. I find with Mutiny u have to really pack it on but with Clear Sky Blue u just need a bit. I own full size jars of both and love them

Yep True Chartreuse is a Matte! Great colour!

I love Polished Ivory and Deep Brown. I'm a neutrals kind of girl!
