hi.. im an asian and i stay away from blue-toned red lipsticks.. bt my absolute favourite red lipstick is moulin rouge by MUFE.. bt i think tt is a blue based (ironically).. haha.

I like Dubonnet on medium to dark warm skin, like Filipinos, Thai, Malaysians. It's a rich brick red. Paler Asian skin, like the one of Koreans, Japanese and Chinese might be able to pull off a cooler and brighter toned lipstick like Russian Red and Ruby Woo. MUFE's Moulin Rouge seems to be a good all around option since it's not too cool or warm toned, and for those on a budget, Revlon's Love That Red might be a good pick. I understand that all these nationalities have a wide range of skin tones but from what I've observed/seen, there are some that are typically lighter/darker than others. HTH!

"asian" means so many things. what ethnicity are you? are you light, medium, or dark skinned? perhaps you can provide a photo of you and your foundation shade so we can get a better idea?
