Well we got crazy high winds here today! I was in a craft store when hubs called to tell me that one of our pine trees was ripped out of the ground and landed on our roof!!! OMG I was a wreck driving home. It hit the corner of the house where I just redid our son's old bedroom. Fortunately it didn't go through the house just part of the top portion of the roof and spouting. Its still laying there & I can see it out the window & I'm freaking out because its still so windy. They can't get to it until tomorrow morning. Oh dear heavens
I forgot - the peche eye liner was sold out at the Macys I was at. I'm not sure why as it barely even showed up on the hand. They were pretty much sold out of everything but the few pieces they were holding for me.
I'm with you guys on the bronzers. I can leave them. I love love love the last Chanel bronzers so I'm good.

Oh that is so awful elegant, I'm sorry. We've had so many trees on our house over the years (we are like the unluckiest people in the neighborhood when it comes to that stuff and we have alot of trees on our lot) and the feeling never gets better. In fact it just makes me more & more nervous everytime the wind blows hard. I hope they get it cleaned up for you first thing tomorrow. Glad the damage wasn't even worse.

I'm still all shakey. I had to pull the blind down so I couldn't see the tree it freaks me out so bad. Its still really windy. I'll be a nervous wreck until tomorrow when they remove it. We have so many trees around our house too

I tried some of the summer products today and really love what I got.
The eyeshadow is amazing - the lighter shade is a pale gold, no yellow at all and it works so well with the brown shadow. I own a million neutral shadows (including both UD Naked) but there is something Chanel shadows, the quality can't be beat. I wore the Bronze Rose bronzer as a blush and LOVED it. Since it's not meant to be a blush I really had to pack it on but it is such a great color on the cheeks.
The lighter RCS is the only thing I wouldn't consider a must have. It's pale and showed up on me but I don't have pigmented lips.
I caved and got the lighter np along with Holiday.

I agree that the peche eyeliner is not exciting by itself, but it looks amazing layered over the darker brown pencil. This is why I bought it.

If the peche liner is like the Armani one (I guess it was from their spring collection) it will look really nice in the inner corner too.

There is a tree in front of my room and during very windy nights which happen a couple of times a year, it gets really bent and I think it will fall on my room, but it doesn't. That's not my tree - I hope the tree gets removed because birds like to chirp there extremely early in the morning and they wake me up.

I am also in the search for a nice stay-put eyepencil: I will most definetively try the new BB ones (which by the way, are they going to stay permanently?) and after checking the info about the Givenchy summer collection, I will also try out the new kajals. Have you try the Pure Color kajals from Estee Lauder? If I am not mistaken, Christine from Temptalia said they were waterline safe and gave them an A or A- ... I really need a nice brown eyepencil ... why is it so difficult to find THE ONE?

For everyone that tries the new BB long wear pencil liners -- let me know how you like them. I am curious if they are similar to the gel liners, but in pencil form.
Almus, now you have me curious about the EL ones too. I am always on the hunt for the perfect brown liner -- not too hard, not too soft, and one that doesn't tug along the lashline and stays put.
