Maybe it's helpful to compare it with extremes of blue-based (Ruby Woo), orange-based (Chanel Incandescente), and pink-based (La Maliceuse), to show that it's in the middle.

I did try Arthur on my lips at the counter today and looked like a fool. I bought Emilienne instead. I might want Dimitri too, but that was out of stock.

Left: Mac Maria Moretti Amplified Creme Right: Chanel Rouge Coco 444 Gabrielle I thought these two would be similar, but it highlights for me how forgiving the new RC are :) It has a kind of sheerness to it, so you don't get that hard edge on the lip line. I think Gabrielle is a pretty daytime red ️

I decided to pick one up for summer. I usually don't pick this sort of shade, but I bought the infamous Mademoiselle and it really looks lovely with their Natural lip liner. But, the sort of violet one is gorgeous! That's a must-have for me. It reminded me of a violet version of La Diva. I think Mademoiselle is an interesting shade that celebrities would wear when wearing a red dress, but trying to avoid a red lip with it.

Hello ladies, I' new here.
I found this site when looking for swatches of the new Coco Rouges. I have tried 406 [Antoinette ?] which I like and will get as soon as possible.
I have already bought 446 Etienne on impluse - I went to test 444 Gabrielle but I don't usually do red at all so I felt a bit self-concious. I may still get this at some point as I have no red lipstick at all, red being a colour I very rarely wear.
However whilst just having an clear out of what I do have to make space for the new, I have found a rather old and almost empty Hydrabase in Escapade at the bottom of a bag ! I don't want to think how old this is but my question is, which, if any any of the new colours compare with this? I do also have original Coco Rouge in Grace [browner] and Mademoiselle [pinker].

I picked up my first new RC in Olga and I love it. I don't have a pink like this and its a happy and easy to wear colour. Thanks, winthrop for recommending this to me. :)

I would like to know this too. It doesn't seem encouraging so far, does it? Not a single one included in any of the collections that have come out since the relaunch. I wonder how the original group is selling. I often want to buy one but can't find a shade I love.

I recall my SA said they have a waiting list for 432 Cecile and any new stock is gone straight away. I shall ask her next time I am in town.
I have 3 currently and the Husband will be in the USA before Christmas so I'm hoping he can pick up a couple of the colours that were not released in Europe [specifically 436 Maggy]

In my desperation to pick another color online the other day I ordered Maggy!! Haven't received it yet and have never seen it irl. The ones I have are Arthur, Olga and Cecile...which while I like the color I wish it was less shimmery.

Ooh, exciting ! Please let us know what you think to Maggy.
I hope to try 438 Suzanne later today but feel that may be too dark for me [ I have an orig RC mademoiselle and the tinniest bit left of a very old Hyrdrabase Escapade which I believe was the forerunner to Mademoiselle and I have kept for colour matching ! ]

Absolutely lovely SA at Chanel counter in Meadow Hall shopping centre today. I tried Suzanne but could not see it in natural light so will try again another day but I think I will get it at some point. I asked how well the RC line has sold and she said brilliantly ! There was supposed to be a second push of advertising that was not done as it was not needed. Further the line has won a best new product award for 2015 - can't remember just now what awards I'll find amd post later. But presumably there will be a secondary promo out of this for the UK anyway.
