I have 2 retractable duo brushes too, for the eyes, and 1 kabuki from many years ago. I quite enjoy them, except for one of the eye brushes, the cap is loose and may fall off. Anyone has the 3-in-1 palette essentielle? elegant, I think I saw your pictures of it in another thread. Do you like them? I am drawn to them and the duo concealer retractable brush that is used for it in the Chanel video.

My eye one has a cap that falls off too! It’s quite annoying!! I don’t like to carry it with me for that reason. I have one of the palette essentials and I like it. If you can see/try one at a counter in person I think it’s the best way get the color that suits you.

Yes, I love using them. I have all but the darkest shade.

Oh I want the Baumes and the eye pencil she used in the video. I like the eyelook but haven't even touched my palette from last year so I should probably pass.

I must say I was quite surprised with Chanel. I ordered some stuff off their website this year and a week or so ago I randomly received a package with some sort of moleskin Chanel Journal and a tiny black make up bag. They really know how to suck you in!

Oh I don’t believe that for one minute! I’m sure they love having a mini you! Thanks...yep, it will be more quiet than usual for us this year. It’s hard for me to believe Ruby is almost 3 already. Geesh, time really does fly!

BTW I received a Christmas card from Shypo yesterday. No comments but a very nice pic of the family. I don’t think she’s been on here for years unless she couldn’t get her user name to work after the site was revamped.

so they could have their Christmas together & the in-laws. We had a great time & Ruby was just the cutest ever.

It's matte? I didn't know that. How about a shiny glossy topcoat? I see that it's sold out already.

Yeah but I have to agree with The Happy Sloths that it also dried streaky. Have you tried a glossy topcoat over any of their other mattes? I wonder how well they play together.

Oh brother. No. I don't have any matte shades. I am going to do this pink shade next. I'm wearing the OPI Nutcracker red right now.

Neon pigments are all matte or nearly matte, if they are true neons. Gorgeous color, hope you like it with glossy top coat!
