Rouge Coco Flash

After anticipating these eagerly, I decided to only buy one - Jour. It's the most perfect color when first applied and feels great. Unfortunately that doesn't last look....I soon feel the need to add gloss (my lips tend to be dry anyway) and the color fades. When I build up the color it turns bright hot pink. It also leaves a stain that I have to scrub off. So glad I didn't go nuts and buy a bunch of these like I was tempted to. For the price, I want consistent color and comfort.

I have the same experience with the Rouge Coco Shine, how I quickly need to add gloss or reapply, but they stain my lips so the colour becomes too bright. I played with these new ones last Saturday but didn't pick up any. These don't swatch well on the hand because they all look similar but on lips they should look better.

Anyone knows if there is a Chanel lipstick dupe for the discontinued Rouge Coco Magnolia #117 ? Or any other brands of lipstick. It's a soft neutral/slightly warm pink. There are nice swatches and pictures here.

Chanel Magnolia - my favourite lipstick | Strawberry Blonde

Winthrop - I remember you liking it and I got a backup. :)

The SA helped me and recommended RA Seduisante #91 which is close but slightly more beige. I bought it because I like it too.

The exact thing happened to me when building up this color in terms of it turning neon pink! Thought I was going bonkers.
