Hah that rhymed! But yeah I got the Rose powder it is pretty! Although I will say and warn it doesn't show up a lot and I'm pretty white (Nw15ish). It comes off as a light pinkish mauve on me, I mean you can build the color up, it just takes a lot to show up, but it's good for me because it's on my 'lazy blush days' list of colors to use where I can slap a little bit on and look alive.

You do get to choose free samples from online. I'm pulling the trigger on the Soho polishes immediately, because those suckers are going to sell out! They do offer free shipping on all orders over $150, so if there's stuff you're wanting to get, I'd lump it all in one order with the Steel polish. The Les Khakis sounds like it will be a larger release, and may be at some of the bigger department stores like Nordies or Neimans. Neimans almost always has free shipping going on, so you might get your Les Khakis from there.

Lancome is sold through Sephora, so you don't have to go on their site, ya know, if you're getting other stuff from Sephora. Side note: I really don't like Julia Roberts anymore. She comes off so snooty. I am rather intrigued by that mascara, though!

Does anyone have Allegoria np? I've read so many times about the application being bad but I wonder if maybe some people just got a bad batch.

oh i'm definitely having second thoughts...i really like the looks of that quad...but it just seems so small. i just got my first joues contrastes last week and i was so disappointed at how small they are...will i need a microscope to use these quads?

I have Allegoria, and I do recall it being patchy, but pretty. It's one of those near creams that requires a little work to make it look nice. But, mine is from when it was originally released, so you're right, the formula might have changed.

I have been SO into reds since I got Exces, Fatale & MAC Cyndi glosses that I just got done doing my nails in OPI 20 candles on my cake - so HOT on! It looks like Chanels Dragon gloss But after doing the I realize again how hard red is to put on & take off

I also got OPI From A to Zurich a deep red

Yeah it's pretty light, but on cheek it doesn't come out too bad lol

The swatches on Chanel sorta look pretty, but that's a lot of dough to drop for sorta. I don't think the quad will sell out as quickly, so I might wait until actual swatches roll in, then decide.

I really have a reason to stop in Soho. Hubby will be so happy about this! Ha! I have to go to space.nk anyway so why not stop by Chanel to see the new collection. I hope to take pictures of my experience. The products look great. I hope they work on my skin tone. I will be very sucky if it doesn't.

Chanel higlighters are the ultimate luxury!! As elegant said, they are luxury, silky really finely milled. They give awesome glow but in my experience they are not good for photografy. They reflect too much light!

I don't feel the Soho one, it's a highlighter really but a blush. As far as I know, nobody has already played with it, as it's to be released next week.

The package it's just like the ones from Activateurs or Lotions, but opaque. It contains 100 ml or 3.4 Fl Oz. I think it's a good amount of product for your buck, especially when a little goes a long way.

Give it a try!! It's awesome with pimples from stress.

thanks for your kind words...you ladies have really made me feel welcome! i had to wipe drool from my chin after reading your description of the highlighters...so yummy!

just curious as to what chanel pieces everyone is into lately...i have been using my candy glow aqualumiere a lot...it's a light gloss that is great for the summer, but because it's so light it doesn't stay on that long...maybe about 2 hrs for me, but it sure feels nicer than a heavy mac one in the summertime...oh i have been using my bronze universal every day for the past year and i have barely put a dent in it...do these things last forever?

i also just got the exces rouge allure extrait and i am soooo excited to break it out once fall comes...but for some reason i feel like i have to lose weight in the face first before i use it...putting on such a bold color on that section of my face makes me really self-conscious, esp when the girl in the promo image has such a nicely sculpted face!
