I'm the same way. Can't recall the name of the one I use atm, it's in a green tube and it's by Maybelline, but it does wonders for my lashes! I could see splurging on mascara if I didn't feel the need to by so many products on such a regular basis.

Oh man, I believe Enigma cost me....$68? Yeah I think that's right. I try not to listen to the prices of things. I just hand over my debit card. Not the wisest but it prevents buyers remorse.

Great that we have Chanel subforums now! Now I'm suddenly at at loss as what to say here.

Winthrop, so RC looks "grandma-ish" on both fingers and toes? I agree with karin, maybe you can layer it with something else. I'm going to skip it then, especially since I have Khaki Rose.

Good to save some money for future Chanel purchases.

I would still swatch it on yourself Miss QQ. I have never been much for mid-tone colors on my nails anyway...I either like really light colors or really dark. Karin's idea is a good one.

For now I'm feeling lazy so I'm just gonna leave it on my toes and see if it grows on me.

Well I've tried all 4 of my new RC's and love them all except for Sycamore.

I think it mya be a dud. It just doesn't seem to go on even. Maybe it would work with a lipliner but I don't wear, nor own lip liners. I do like the colour but it just doesn't look even. Oh well I guess 7 out of 8 is pretty darn good!

Winthrop, I'm with you with the mid-tone nail colours. I usually go lighter or darker on the tips and avoid mid-tone shades or really bright colours (save those for the toes!). I saw RC and knew I wouldn't like it on for the reasons you mentioned!

Ultimately, I think the Chanel forum will cut down on the repeat questions because it will be easier to find information.

I've been thinking a lot about this... What I loved them most of this thread was having fun, sharing love and chatting with you gals!!

So I woke up today thinking to keep it this way... let's keep having fun, love and chatting, sharing our purchases and fun with Chanel products and then keep the specific questions, concerns, findings, answears, etc, in the specific threads.

I like the sub forum. It'll be GREAT when we get info on new collections! It makes it so much easier to keep track of collection related things/news, but we can still chat away here like normal and I wouldn't have it any other way.

i am saving up money to buy some chanel, but this MAC VV's hype is sucking me in, and its not like i really like anything, few months down the road, i wont even care about what I bought in the hype and will be sad that I didnt buy what I actually wanted... makes sense?

so you guys find yourselves in such situations?

I still like the MAC colors, I just don't buy as much. I am really liking the blushes/BP in the VV collection. And, I still use my MAC a lot, but Chanel will always be the cream of the crop.
