I do love the Inimitable Mascara for what it does to my lashes, but it does smudge a bit. Not as bad as some others, but still. Hourglass Film Noir doesn't smudge on me and costs about the same as the Chanel. I might switch to that one after all my samples run out.

I totally agree. It definitely helps my confidence and makes my day a little brighter. It's nice to have a couple of things you want in addition to the things you simply need.

EDIT: As for $30 mascaras, I really like Armani's Eyes to Kill (if Chanel Inimitable doesn't work out for you)!

Its fairly medium to sheer coverage. Medium Pigmentation. Looks much more pigmented in the tube than on. Beautiful

Afaik there never was a Holiday collection for Europe, it always was US/CDN only

It looks to me Chanel needs to get their priorities straight when it comes to Europe as a market. Please ask your counter about it, maybe if more people mention it they might change.

Well I asked like 8 days ago or so about it via Chanel's website. They told me that there was no info yet about when the holiday collection was going to be released, but I was not told it won't be launched at all! I guess, maybe, that if it wouldn't be released they've told me, right? (like they told me that the sets are not coming).

I didn't get the Beiges de Chanel quad for holiday too. It was replaced by Spices. So sometimes, we don't get the complete holiday collection.

Help! I'm trying out my Reflets D'Ombre quad I got in a swap today and for some reason I'm totally lost on what blush and lip colour to do with it. They are such strong colours. Hmmmm??? Any ideas? THanks!

Edit: I went with Nude JC and Patchouli RC. Another great quad. Euro version and it's still love (I was worried).

I went to go order Confidence extrait de gloss with the free shipping code Karin gave us (yay!) -- but it is still out of stock

I think my husband is getting me the new holiday quad and the glossimer/liner kit for Christmas (aaah, can I wait that long??). But I am now feeling the need to buy the Mystic Eyes quad. I wish I could get my hands on the Liberte extrait de gloss -- did someone say that one of the counters would be getting it in the US??

I think someone mentioned it was a Saks exclusive? Oops sorry that's liberte. I did order Confidential EDG from NM for my friend. Not sure if it's still in stock or not

but Mystic Eyes really is amazing. I love mine and wear it at least once a week.

I think I heard, too, that just one of the counters in the US was getting it. But I don't live near a Sak's anyways -- so even if they did, I still couldn't get my hands on it

Well it is but it was also at a certain counter. Someone posted about it on here and on MUA. I'm sure it's on here somewhere??
