I thought there was a Byzance Thread but I can't find it so I'll post this here.
I just looked at all my Byzance collection stuff: Topkapi quad and the 2 blushes. I just noticed that there is no color on the back. The name of the product is listed but the color is not filled in on the picture of the product on the label (its just white). My other Chanel items show the colors on the back so it's easy to grab the right one. It's strange. Is this unusual? Did I just get a bad label?

It's been a while, missed you all!
A while back I was having such trouble with the site here that I couldn't stay logged in long enough to read 1 post per topic, and everything was just so frustrating for me! I checked a few times a week hoping things would work themselves out, and then gave up for a bit when nothing seemed to help. I thought I'd give it a try this afternoon after the hubby re-worked a bunch of stuff on our home network/router/other computer crap I don't understand (lol), and I'm so happy...Specktra works again for me!!! With no problems! YAY!!!!!
Me right now:
I have missed SO much there's no way I'll ever catch up so I'm just gonna jump in with both feet with the new stuff. I hope all of you are doing great, smiling and laughing every day, and enjoying some new Chanel (and other brands!!!) as often as possible. Tell me what's new that you love!

Hey Meg!! We missed you! We all thought you were on a long romantic trip in the mountains!!
I am impatiently awaiting the Velvets and the Holiday launch from Chanel. In the meantime, I really want to buy one of the Dior Smokey 3 color e/s palettes that I saw featured on Cafe Makeup. I might just hit up my Dior counter this weekend. I might get the Curvacious lipglass from the MAC me over collection, but that will probably be it from that collection.
Kids back in school tomorrow -- I'm excited and sad at the same time. But it's time to go out to lunch and do some shoppin'

Hey Megan! Welcome back! Yeh we thought you were off to another fun trip. missed you! Have you purchased anything from Chanel fall? I want the new Chanel velvets, hopefully they aren't drying. Also interested in guerlain quads and the new Dior trios Michelle said. Only the dark blue and black trios are launched at my counters. Mac Me Over also caught my eye - wanted Lady grey and some of the eyeshadow singles but I have to pass them since I overspent. This fall it seems there are many new eyeshadows all wanting to come home with me. Michelle - thebeautylookbook has reviewed Smoky Khaki, another Dior trio. I like the pink one more from cafemakeup from the pics. Have a fun shopping trip!

^^ The trio looks lovely. Let us know what you think of it if you buy it. I haven't seen the Guerlain new quads, they aren't launched yet. One or two of them have caught my eyes but I may hold off buying them since they are perm, and I overspent these two months. Better for me to start saving for holiday collections before its too late. The guerlain holiday collection looks amazing, kind of extravagant, but I'm drawn to the perfume glitter spray. I always want one of their holiday glitter sprays but felt they were unnecessary. The peacock powder looks pretty!

This is how I feel, I don't even go there. However, I do love Guerlain's Angelique Noire. I am waiting for the next Bergdorf's beauty GC event before I purchase a full bottle.
Omg I saw Temptalia's swatch of Gris Exquis e/s and I love it. Bah my broke college ass is evil for getting into Chanel w/o a job! Ayayay. Anyone think this e/s is a must have? Possible e/s combos? Dupes? Deets plz. I've only purchase 1 Chanel product (VA) and I love it. But I have a $35 giftcard for Macy's sitting there... hmmmmm!! TIA

I used Gris Exquis a few times now and I like it. It is pigmented and can be blended easily compared to other matte eyeshadows I have, such as MUFE purple. The shade is versatile too. On its own it is a soft grey that can be use as a crease or at the outer lids if I want a softer smoky eye. If I want it to be dark and smoky, I can put it over a dark base. If I want shimmers, I use it over Fantasme.
