'Makeup rules' matter less and less to me and I seem to be hearing that from others more frequently. If you like something, love the way a product looks on you or works for you, rock it!

Agreed. There are certainly degrees of sparkle. Plus we all have a different aesthetic. I don't look like many people my age and therefore we are not able to pull off the same looks. Wearing a dress several inches above my knees today because I look young, I'm thin, and I can.
Older women shouldn't have long hair...
Cultures love to limit their people. I guess I would just steer away from making broad generalizations.

Try a light beige version ( 20 ) I think, ( I have Pêche Clair and Rose Clair ), it's a very good setting powder indeed.

Don't get me wrong rules are made to be broken.I to have long hair wear v.tight clothes&am not a follower,but have my own style.I think glitter is a thing that one can use if you are able to judge wear to apply.For example over black liquid eyeliner,I do use various opaque colours.I think what has really made me think about sparkle is Nars Light ReflectivePowder.I was told that it wasx making me look different.I then realised the lines around my eyes were highlighted.I have now returned to Chanel foundation&powder.What a difference the foundation makes!!! I belive quality is a must&Chanel is this for me.I hope you continue to reak the rules.I am a rebel too.B.W Miss O

Adding to this thread just to post pics of the illuminating fluid to show Richelle. 
The last one is with flash. I rubbed it in a bit in the other spot to show how it blends out. It's more golden than Mac's Babados Girl, but on the skin it seems pretty similar.

It doesn't actually. It has kind of a product smell? Can't really describe it, but you can't even smell it unless you put your nose all over the opening of the bottle.
