Not exactly. The person I'm working with from Chanel.com is super nice and very responsive and says it was reshipped but I think someone in the distribution center may be pulling her leg....which I may be okay with after hearing about the glitter.

It's a very very fine fairy glitter, but glitter no less. I can get a nice sheen on my cheekbones, and if you look very closely, you can see some glitter. I think some people will be fine and some will hate it. Especially for the price.

Des Plumes gives a nicer sheen with more color behind it and no fairy glitters that puff into the air. But as far as highlighters go, I suppose they would be in the same overall class.

It was scary swatching it, but it really did give a nice shimmer on the cheeks and most of the very very teeny tiny microglitter blended away.
Hubby couldn't see it until he got waaay too close to my face. :hehe:

I'm not on instagram, but I decided to try to find the post from TM where she ruined this for everyone. Ruh-roh, here are some comments:

sweethazel20I got mine and im slightly disappointed. It has alot of glitter in it but I dont want to return it because of the packaging. Grrrrr

oliviatakSooo much glitter! I was hoping it was just an overspray but it's not. I always thought of Chanel as being sophisticated luxury, but this is a glitter bomb. It would have been sheer perfection without the glitter. I can't see it being very flattering as a highlight on the face. It looks nice as an eyeshadow, but for solely being used as an eyeshadow for over $70? I just can't.

rasknic66Just received mine today. Whoa. SPARKLE OVERLOAD. I'm really glad I was able to get it....I just wasn't expecting this much sparkle from Chanel. It's almost like a pressed version of Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powders. Really liking it. Just surprised by the sparkle.
