I looked at the eye collection in person, and nothing really caught my eye. Both quads struck me as intense and too extreme. I am too pale for these shades. The flesh Id’o is probably too pink for me. Might make my eyes “look sick.”

Seriously (and I can't even read the posts on Instagram): this is beyond words.
It makes me kind of sad (can't really lough about it) -- I did struggle a lot to 'make my peace' with the 'new looks' after Peter Philipps had left. And I'm doing well, buying some stuff (not entire collections like before, but yes: I bought some red -- which will be enough for years) and doing my best with it, but photos like this show me that I will never ever be 'in the mood' of the new Chanel; and I'm hoping that sooner or later there will be a real and serious change...

Funny, I saw that pic while scrolling through Insta and thought ''oh, cool makeup'', didn't even see it was Chanel. Not exactly a look that screams Chanel...

I haven't bought anything from Chanel in ages. Interested in the matte nude crayon from the fall collection.
