Soon to be released in the MAC Pro Sortiment are two brush containers.

Here is the promo text:

Cool! This might be good for travel. Don't know if I would want to use it as my usual brush holder -- looks a little too rubbermaidy for me.

Just google-image "MAC Brush Canister" and it's the third picture from the left (it's NOT the official promo pic).
yeah this looks ok. although perhaps not something i would buy. i actually use the mac boxes from the holiday gloss sets to hold my dirty brushes... and eyeliners too!

That's a good idea. Do they fit in nicely? My problem would be that I use more than five brushes, lol.

Forgot to mention the price: 18/25 USD (+ tax). Don't know the Canadian or European prices.

I got excited when I started reading this thread...and then I saw the picture on google. Couldn't mac have put a little more effort into designing it?

I quite like it as it fulfills its purpose and is not heavy-weight, which is excellent for traveling (i.e. it does not take up a lot of weight). I can't see myself traveling around with a Hello Kitty brush holder.

For transportation purposes, I will still stick to the brush roll, but the new canisters allow an easy distinction/storage between clean and dirty brushes. This aspect was missing with the brush rolls/belt.

But I agree, it's not the most styling design, but that was not the point.

I should have been more articulate. I meant to say it's not available on the website yet. It's still in "coming soon" mode, but hopefully it can be ordered soon. :)

Hmm I once bought a paintbrush set for Art class and it came in a container exactly like this! Haha, I should hunt it down. It was quite cheap I recall cause I was only 14 back then.

It does what it's supposed to do so I will probably still end up buying one of these when they're on the website/pro stores near(ish) me.

I don't think they will turn up on the regular website, but call your local Pro Store. Maybe they are already released in the UK?

I would have made them in different colors... such as glossy black (for a more professional view).. and why not pink :p
