<------- This was me. LOL
But I'm a bit nervous after I read your post. Hope it'll arrive fine. Wish me luck!

I saw Half Wild at my CCO two weeks ago and when I went back for it on Sat, they were all gone. I'm hoping to check out the CCO near my parents' house next month.

My CCO still had Half Wild, Imaginary and Pure Creation when I was there last Friday. I bought the last Treasure Hunt a few weeks ago.

They also recently got it Dark Diversion Fluidline and had plenty of those in stock. Had to pick up a BU of that one!

Colors I'd buy in ED Glow in a heartbeat: Mid-tone neutral or Payne's (bluish) grey (for that amazing blendability) Deep emerald blue/green Scarlet red Royal purple Burgundy plum Bring it on, MAC! :poke:
I really hope MAC is listening to you, we need more jewel-tones eyeshadows. Do you think Dark Dare would bring me closer to the translucent smokey eye I am looking for?

You can blend it out to a faint grey or pile it on for a thick, rich black, plus you can get a nice wet sheen, or a more sparkly effect or even a more matte effect depending on the brush and whether you're applying it wet or dry. It's insanely versatile. Like someone else said, I've never encountered such a blendable black shadow before.

I thought it was the best of the shadows the day I first saw the collection and I still think so now, after trying all the shades and wearing them through the day and night every day since the collection came out. If you're only getting one, this is the one, no matter how much I love some of the others, like YV, BO, GG, RC. It's the most versatile and the most classic.

My 128 brush arrived with Lasting Sensation and Hip 'n Happy! Douglas was a lot faster this time. The 128 felt really nice and soft and i wanted to try it immediately, but i always wash my brushes before i use them the first time so i have to wait.

I WOULD too seeing that it is the darker colors that I love the most from this collex. I agree with you Liba, the black is divine!

Funny, grand galaxy is like a royal purple on me.

I've worn it on my lid alone, and with sweet heat also. I just throught it would be more of a bronze color, or allow me to have that naked eye look. On me it like a taupe brown, with some pink sheen to it. It is very hard for me to wear browns. They are either too grey or too red on me. I am going to see what it will look like with Satin Taupe. I'm also going to try it over bamboom. +

What's not working for you?
I've worn Havana a few times. I've worn it alone on the lid. I've worn it on the crease and outer V with Sweet Heat on the lid. I've worn it on the lid with Sweet Heat in the inner corner. Today, I got the idea to layer it over Genuine Treasure Paint Pot. It came out darker than I originally wanted (It's a hot sunny day today and I think brighter colors would have been a better choice.) But boy is it sparkly! Love the look! Finished with Modern Mandarin and Glorify and Entice lipglass.

So I've ordered dark dare, modern pewter & young Venus (plus all 3 skinfinishes) Does anyone want to tempt me to buy others? (to suit me?) :)

update on my situation i.e. the colours barely show on me. Armed with my receipts and the eyeshadows ( i tried all of them together like a maniac on two eyes...my husband looked at me confused and asked me what was the look I was going for and that it looked questionable)....I went to the counter and the SA, while being a little snappy, finally told me what I was doing wrong. We used the same brush, same bases, but apparently, I am treating this like a regular ES and am just tapping my brush over it and sweeping it back and forth (and there I thought I was using it too much). The trick ladies and gentlemen, ....drum roll please.....is kind of to dig into the eyeshadow, almost putting your brush in vertically, and pat it it on at an angle!! She suggested to remove the excess by tapping the brush against the pot...anyhoo..lo and behold transforms from a minty shine on moo's eyelid to a gorgeous olive-y colour I sought....I am back on the ES :eyelove:

I have to agree with you liba, dark dare is the stand out shadow from this collection. It provides an effortless smokey eye. It's so smooth and easy to blend.

I have to stay away from this thread! I am so tempted to purchase more shadows. Trying to stick to a strict budget this month. I picked up all EDSF and Warm Thunder. Trying to be content....UGH

Thank you so much for this tip! I've been having the exact same problem... what brush are you using? The one that came out with this collection? (the # escapes me at the moment, but I've just ordered it, hoping that it will help with proper application). I knew I must have been doing *something* wrong, but I just couldn't figure out what - after trying all sorts of different brushes etc. Very frustrating, so I thank you for this information!

Well, I've been using the gorgeous EDSFs since launch day. The texture is so incredible and instantly sculpts the face with zero effort when used all over.

One thing - I feel like the formula, even though it feels perfectly comfortable on the skin, is kind of drying after wearing it all day. I'm just trying to make sure to moisturize really well, and thoroughly cleanse it off my skin and re-moisturize ASAP when the day's done. Anyone else noticing this?

Prettypackages!! I can't get the quote to work right now. Try baghdad's idea. Try patting it on. I think I did pat it on when I wore it alone on the lid. It looked pretty vibrant on the eye.
