Hello ladies, today I used the sculpting cream in coffee walnut and pure sculpture...

On the left I combined coffee walnut and blended it out with pure sculpture, on the right it's coffee walnut on it's own. I think it works for someone with the same skintone as me - yellow/neutral no red nc42/43.5

It looks good on you DynoPupBeauty. You're so pretty!

LOVELY!!!!!

My brushes, 163 & 215 arrived today. I've already washed and conditioned them. I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of both. BTW, my 163 was odorless. It did require diligent rinsing, but after the initial wash & conditioning, I use brush cleanser on brushes with this degree of density. I also got my Coffee Walnut Sculpting Cream (love & will get a BU) and Eternal Sunshine Blush, the only item that I'll probably get from Office Hours. It's very pretty with good pigmentation and color pay-off. I'm happy!!!

Nice haul!

I think I need to go into the store to see the rest of these Sculpting Creams. Karen's swatches almost has Coffee Walnut looking like the powder in my Sleek Dark Contouring Kit. Medgal what foundation shades do you wear?

I love what you did with that combo! You look so pretty!!

I brought both of those myself, Pure Sculpture for my personal kit and Coffee Walnut for my working kit and I am a NW20... I think this weekend I am going to sit down and play to practise blending them together, even if coffee walnut doesnt work on my skin.. practise makes perfect for clients

They look great on you doll! What was your application technique? Brushes used? Thanks for all the helpful info! I haven't had a chance to play with mine yet!

Thank you hun, I used the 163 to line precisely where I wanted my contour, dabbed the 163 a few times over the same contour line I started with ensuring I had the desired amount of colour (using coffee walnut). I then used my mac 168 angled contour brush and spread the colour upwards and sweeped back and fourth in both directions under my cheek bones (sucking my cheeks in lol) also if you want to mix in a second colour (pure sculpture like it did) then at this point you use the same 163 and build the colour on the contour line. I then buffed and swirled with a small kabuki. The higher you buff out the contour colour towards the sides of your face up to your ears the more depth and blending you get for a natural look. Hope this helps..

Hi Copperhead! I'm NC 44 and have to apply CW lightly & blend it well. I LOVE it. It gives the appearance of a nicely cast shadow. I tried it today & I'm hooked. I previously used Take Root CCB to contour...actually went through two of them before I realized it was LE. But CW is a great sub. I'm thinking of checking out RH & CB too.

I purchased it because it was more for cool toned skin, and was planning to mix it with pure sculpture if i needed to warm it up. 163 brush is awesome for product placement for the contour.

Sure does!! Thanks so much! You're making me wish I had gambled on CW instead of CB... I'm NC30-35 and thought CW wouldn't work for NC skintones but it looks fantastic on you. These keep confusing me more and more with every swatch... Hope I like CB!

I'm still uncertain what to purchase. I also don't have the option of trying them out in person so I have to gamble on mac site.
I think someone mentioned that RH was the safest? I'm NC15 and can't decide on a shade!
I understand that most of the shades can be blended out and made sheer.
Have any NC15'ers out there found a good color that they are happy with?

I imagine it did look crazy!
I am noticing on swatches done on NW tones CW seems to look nice, but I can just imagine it on NC tones- HAHAHAHAHA

On a crazier note- that would be a great color to have on hand for special effects makeup or monster makeup for costume parties
in Oct on people with warmer skintones LOL

Also great for achieving a sick appearance if you want to look convincing on a sick day. *chuckles*
sold! lol

I finally got to see this collection today. Coffee Walnut is awesome! I'm NC15 and not only was it my favorite, all the MAs agreed it looked the best on me as well. It's very dramatic - definitely gives that Goth/New Romantic look, but it's not unnatural at all. Just pair it with a warm blush and top it with a light dusting of powder if you like and voila! Other shades are nice, but dupeable - not CW! If you have neutral to yellow undertones, it's a winner.

These have a great texture that's different from other cream products. It feels really creamy and moist, but just for a moment, and then it immediately dries down and feels like it's not even there.

The other shades are really nice too - we tried the lightest shade around the jaw line and that was a good look too. Fortunately the contour creams are perm - this way as the skin tone changes with the seasons, you can find new shades to match up.

P.S. I also tried Pure Sculpture and it was more subtle than CW. Also a lot warmer looking. If I didn't feel like I already had something I could dupe it with, I'd have picked it up too.
