Wait, when is this coming out? I don't want to miss it. Are these LE or Perm. Honestly, I tried to scan the thread but I have ADHD for sure. MAC is bringing so many collections so fast I stay confused.

They're already listed on the austrian Douglas site as coming soon, release date for Germany is Dec 27 I think. I don't know about the US release date.

As far as I now they will be perm.

OK, since i'm really using up the ONLY thing i wanted from the Marilyn collection, Preferred Blonde e/s, can anyone tell if Blonde Streak pressed pigment is similar? Or does anyone know of a dupe for Preferred Blonde?

Edit To Add:
I checked out Temptalia who seemed to think Preferred Blonde looked pretty much like two of the others, How to Marry - a shimmery white - and Silver Screen - a frosty silver. But on me they looked quite different. I'm much paler than she is, so perhaps the differences were more noticeable on me. Plus i have no trouble getting decent coverage and even without eye primer, i get no fall-out, and it doesn't crease.

Of her comparisons, she seemed to think MAC Vanilla was closest. I'll have to double check, but it seems to me that Preferred Blonde is more golden-beige champagne, which is why i preferred it, it was much much warmer in tone than HTM or SS.

I'm just hoping one of these new pressed pigments comes close.

i'll look through my stuff to compare w PB... i don't have a lot of pigments, but i can check other shadows for dupes.
i didn't think those three shadows looked alike. but maybe it's again a skin tone thing, because my skintone is much darker than christine's, so they probably show up different. SS definitely reads a blue tinged silver on me, while PB is kinda wheatish...and HTM closest to white...

This was supposed to be released here today, but it hasn't materialised on any website yet. I didn't go to the counter today, did anyone in the UK go?

i got to see the pressed pigments today!

They're all lovely, but most of them are rather sheer, at least when applied dry.

The pink one doesn't look the way it does in the promo pic. It's more comparable to Young Venus when applied.

The lavender one is also sheerer than the photo, but a lot closer.

The most opaque ones I'd have to say would be the black, the silver, the blue silver (I think it's called "Smokey"), followed by the really light ones, like the white, the champagne, the super pale blue and the light rosy one. I think the champagne colored one is Flicker - it barely reads as yellow, it's extremely pale. The one that looks like a very light rosy off-pink is maybe Blond Streak - I didn't check all the names.

As for which ones I think are the most beautiful. WOW, that black is amazing...the glisten it has is unreal. Smokey is really beautiful too - it's pretty much the same shade as the blue grey shadow from Marilyn. The pale yellow and the white ones are also very close to the Marilyn equivalents, but all three of these I think are so much nicer and more modern - I, for one, am glad I waited for these. Of course, some people don't like so much sparkle or prefer a heavier consistency than these pressed pigments have, but for my eye texture at least, I think all of these are extremely flattering. Just use one of the silicon sponge applicators for the best results - that brush that's being featured with these just doesn't apply them anywhere near as well.

Off the bat, I'm going to get the black, the very pale blue, the lavender and Smokey, plus maybe the champagne one. If you don't have Deeply Dashing, get it now - I wear that one every week at least once. Very glad these will be perm.
