Oh crap! Why did I come on this board?! Tx so much for the swatches LC. I am going to hold off a bit and then try one (or two ) of these beauties. I wish Lush Life was more purple tho. That is the one I had wanted, but I will skip it. I'm leaning towards Divine Choice and maybe either Glamour Era or Lady at Play. Why couldn't MAC make a violet blue, lavender or blue purple with this bunch?

I know some people are not happy with the new look. But there's no reason not to innovate - that's always been one of MAC's characteristic features.

I remember when MAC did NOT have pointy-headed bullet tubes. Originally lipstick was in just a plain black cylinder with a flat top. I still have a couple of those - in a Back2Mac bag - if they'll take 'em.

I didn't think I would want any but Elegant Accent is my kind of color. And Lady At Play. Thank goodness these are permanent!

Lush Life looks more berry(ish) than purple to me. I had hoped for a purpley purple lipstick. Maybe I am being too picky with my purple wishes, but I dont' think so.

I kinda love the new look for these. But I'm a packaging person and I love fun packaging.

I agree with October Violet. Lush Life is a berry. It isn't purple enough for me either. I took it off my wish-list, too.

I had seven colors on my original test list, but after seeing swatches, now, i only want to test:
Luxe Naturale - Light beige cream
Dreaminess - Soft cool pink cream
Grande Dame - Mid-tone neutral rose cream

Grande Dame looks nice on Christine of Temptalia, but it may be too bright for me.

Lady At Play looks like it has the potential to be an ultra-shiny version of Viva Glam Cyndi. And even if I'm just telling myself that to justify it, goodness knows I'm a sucker for corals, anyway.
I wonder if Dreaminess would show up on my pigmented lips.
