I'm pretty sure one is the blush (the one in the back) and the other is the CCB (in the front). But I have to agree, the front one is gorgeous.

I am wondering if those are two blushes poss one for a later collection? They seem to be the same size looking at the pic.

I'm not faithful to any brand. There is some I like more than the others.
Since MAC is becoming a little ridiculous lately with what I feel is intentional lack of product to drive up the frenzy, I think I am with you on this philosophy. I got into MAC because I thought they were a little edgier yet more mature and classy than Urban Decay and more on trend than Estee Lauder or Clinique. What these brands have in common for me is they are reasonably priced for what are usually good quality products, can be tested at the counter for compatibility with my complexion, etc. and are pretty much on trend. But as MAC makes their LE collections more and more difficult to test before the products sell out, I am starting to lose interest. I know many of us enjoy the hunt and chasing down that coveted item, but it is getting old for me. I am past losing sleep to stalk or paying inflated prices from what we all know are sellers using their Pro status to snatch up LE items and basically do on line scalping with the prices.

I like MAC for the whole package, good quality for the price, on trend, and colors in the collections that work well together. But UD and NARS have similar quality and are not that much more money. So if MAC keeps being ridiculous with the availability, I will have to "break up" with them and just stick to the basic permanent range. If they go back to letting bloggers get early swatches so we can make reasonable guesses as to what is going to work I can probably live with that, but in general the lack of product for each collection generating a feeding frenzy is pissing me off. Not a good marketing strategy for inspiring company loyalty. MAC may be getting new fans this way, but they really need to think about the loyal fan base they could lose with this bullshit.

Based on the info Erin provided (below), I would say the blush (BGGG) is in the front and the CCB (Diamonds) is in the back with HK to the left.

ccb-$22
diamonds-soft pink beige w/gold pearl pigments

blush-$23
bggg-warm copper (s)

blush duo-$29
hk

Agreed. I think that you have successfully summed up the frustration that a lot of us have recently felt.

I didn't think it would, but that ugly R has knocked almost everything off of my list. It's just so janky and cheap looking.

I am really debating if I should get HK for the compact. I love to collect and have lots of stuff unused, but I really dont't like HK and dont see myself using it. For now I only have CCB on my list and maybe TTT.

I wouldn't bother if you know you already don't like the product and probably wouldn't use it. Why waste the money just for the compact? Do you really like the design that much?
