Ladies thank you sooooo much for all your info! it's been an interesting couple of weeks. And all this info just makes me smile from ear to ear. Now I have something to look forward to. So thank you! I seriously am in trouble. Well....my low buy is. But I need to just take a deep breath and really evaluate my stash. Cause this, KnS, and Moody Blooms all sound amazing!

@pemily i think i understand what you say. the other time i saw a youtube artist, @Monikablundermakeup use Real Techniques brushes on Jessica Alba. she does makeup in alot of well know celebrities. and i was amazed since Lisa Eldridge uses Suqqu and Chikuhodo on kate winslet and all the other celebrities she works with. so to me she is cheap, and should not be kissing Pixiwoos Butt like a youtuber using their brushes. which are good but do not compare to other well known brands. and i know people are going to disagree with me. but then Jessica alba is not paying $50.

My problem with your comment was that you said that using Drugstore products could Give Clients Diseases. i disagree.
in my opinion that would happen if the makeup artists does not sanitizes the products after each client. and could also happen with High End Makeup.

i also agree with the ones that think that makeup artist should be able to make Drugstore look like chanel. since its all about the techniques, and knowledge he/she has.

Im grown so there for i apologize if i made you feel bad with my comment regarding Drugstore makeup.
@kimibos as Pixie mentioned, the problem with forums/emails/texts is comments can be misconstrued. I meant in no way shape or form that DS gives diseases. I meant, un packaged items / not behind a counter that could be used by someone can spread diseases... from my studies we focused very heavily on hygiene etc and I am a hygiene freak when it comes to makeup!!! the thought of bacteria etc makes me sick literally!

From the studies I did, we were told that some diseases etc cannot be sanitized out of an item.. (so don't know how to word this!!! to sound technical) :)

insurance may be able to assist if you were sued for passing an infection on etc via your makeup... no amount of "insurance" would ever bring a reputation back from that.

Just to reiterate this all started regarding unsealed items.

Extra Dimension Blush: Sea Me, Hear Me - beige pink  -> hoping for a cool-toned Bareness Seduced At Sea - mid-tone neutral plum ????????????? -> need to see swatches
I agree on both counts. I like the ED formula for blush, so if these are sufficiently different from my existing stash they are a possibility. Also on my list Lipstick Goddess of the Sea - almost certain Mystical - maybe EDES Sea Worship - definite Soul Serenade - only if it's like the picture, the description makes it sound like others I have (Will swatch the others but hopefully can keep it to 2) Nail lacquer Submerged I'm vaguely eyeing up Water Deities & Seducing Sound lipglasses, but really don't need any more gloss.

I'm not too crazy about the ED blush formula, but I like the sounds of beige pink so I'll pick up Sea Me, Hear Me. I also want Lorelei eyeshadow and at least one of the lippies but will decide after swatches. I'd love to get a compact too but I don't use bronzer so I don't know how I could justify that purchase.

Audrey, I thought you were on low buy:pp:
I just don't have your willpower. ;) I'm ok with 2-3 from this collection. The last MAC collection I bought from was FoF (two BTM lippies). At least we'll have lots of European swatches from this one to check out first.

Having a forum like this to share experiences and obsessions on is great but waking up to comments such as some I have read is not cool. Really disappointed!
Sorry to quote so many pages back.. but I had to do this:

Just wanted to show my support for you @pemily!

Respectful disagreement is one thing. And then there's being ... "unneccessary." Lol, that's the nicest way I can think to put it.

Basically, if the only value in a statement is that it serves to be sarcastic or rude in order to demean someone else.. it's just excess letters that I could happily skip reading. I was disappointed by a couple of choice phrases too and I thought you showed some real class making the above statement.. I might not have been so elegant about it!

Also agreed on your post that some microbes cannot be killed using alcohol, for example ones that form resistant spores. Better to buy sealed IMO.

Given the color story, this is really an NC30 collection. It will look gorgeous on Latina beauties.
Whohoooooo! With Mac-guy's seal of approval I will seriously assess my stash and fill some (made up by me) gaps on color. I find that I have the most face stuff in wintry and sultry fallish colors...

Now I know the colour story... I might get Goddess of the Sea and Mystical Lure. I am so many days behind on a lot of threads... Not good

Are there any bronzers you recommend for pale NWs?
I don't know if this question is addressed to the board generally, but there are two bronzers that I've run into lately that are very neutral in tone. One is the new Armani Sun Fabric bronzer in 100. In my mind, it is designed for men--it's such a neutral color. But sometimes those products look the most natural for women, so worth a look. It's hard to find something that's sort of that same no-touch-of-yellow color.

The other is Burberry Golden Radiance (ignore the name). This one has a subtle shimmer. The tone is very neutral.

Both of those are a lot pricier than MAC, so we are definitely in "try before you buy" territory!!

Anyway, I agree with MacGuy that red-based bronzers are great bets. I'm warm toned, but I love a touch of red in a bronzer. I regret passing on Sun Dipped, and I'm going to check out the perm product that he mentioned.

I definitely agree on the bronzers for men. They are neutral with a hint of red and no shimmer or glitter. Outside of the MAC world, there a quite a few bronzers that are stunning. My favorites are the Guerlain Terracotta Men and the bronzer from Jean Paul Gaultier. The latter one has a gorgeous compact and I love their travel compact too. However, both brands come at a much higher price tag. I don't know the Burberry bronzer, but I will check it out.
